You need not perform all those man-made rituals to pray. That's all mumbo jumbo. Whether prayer to God works is an unknown. The brainwashed zealots would swear it works ...although coincidence is a more likely explanation.

yes, just because he doesn't answer your prayers doesn't mean he isn't listening.

What ever you think of is suited while you're praying to easily...a god. yet, while you're praying to THE God, he's does not care the form you do it. on a similar time as your cleansing, driving, mendacity in mattress, etc... HE does not CARE! isn't that spectacular?

nope. Prayed all my life, tried to listen to him. nothing. I would ask him for courage and protection through all the day; i got sexually molested. I prayed to him asking that he would heal my mother; she still has a flesh eating bacteria that could kill her. My christian friends said it was bc i wasnt 'spiritual' enough. and now im not spiritual at all.
