If soul is one's self, then saying "I am my soul" would be equivilent to saying "I am myself". If it's just a vitalizing force then the bible must be wrong because it says it's mortal.

How come the bible only has the 4 gospels of John, Luke, Matthew and Mark when there are many other gospels out there? I heard those other gospels talk about Jesus very differently than the ones we have read.

I hear so many people these days constantly griping about their lives. Their problems are always the worst. Their lives suck and they just dont know why. They have these flaws and thats the way it is. They accept them. Everything is the way it is. They dont understand how to take responsibility for their own issues and solve them. You must get your priorities in line. What are we all living and working for? Happiness. If you want happiness then listen to me. Happiness cannot be attained. Happiness is not something you can just acquire. Happiness is a pursuit. Everyone has this hole in them. This space that haunts you when you are bored or alone. What do you try to fill it with?

as well as other "traditions" "cultures" which are guilty of massive human rights violations,
I find it fantastically stupid how in order to remain in the realms of "political correctness" some atheists/agnostics will go through great lengths not to bash other cultures and relgions which do sickeningly terrible things and consistantly too, even today.
If you meantion them, their knee jerk response will be "well, what about the Spanish Inquisition 500 years ago!"

LOL....

This is the truth before God, I wouldn't lie. My best friends son put a gun in his mouth when he was drunk one night and pulled the trigger. It was the call every mother dreads. She wasn't sure if he would even live until she got to the hospital. Well, after 3 weeks in intensive care and months of recover, the only thing wrong with him is he lost a little hearing in one ear. The bullet is still lodged behind his ear. It penetrated the brain and is sticking under the bone from the impact. The doctors didn't dare remove it.

The doctor told my friend it was a miracle. He said even if he was an expert marksman, there was no way he could've manuvuered that bullet to miss every major nerve, artery and brain tissue as it did. He said it was a miracle that he not only lived but sustained no brain damage.

My friend is a Christian and has spent the last 30 years praying for her children's protection. She believes in her heart that God protected her son. I do too.

I am thinking of a parent-child relationship, specifically. And how the "suffering" of Christ for that afternoon on a cross would compare to a parent watching a child die by torture or fire or cancer.

(See what happens when I leave here to watch "24")

Most probably the bones that were recently found in the tomb
were the bones of the Pharesee Refah Ben Yehuda's. He
was 5' 8 inches tall and had the same stature of Jesus and He
was one of the accusors. In order to save Jesus---God foiled the
Jews' plots and infact changed Refah's face alike Jesus.
So, this guy was crucified instead and was crying in the cross
that why God abandoned him--because he thought that he was right in accusing Jesus as a blasphemer. Jesus was taken to heaven in his
body--so now he is around 2040 years old(in 2007).
The DNA test might verify that the gene most likely will match
the Melkahim Levites--because Refah was from that clan.
Jesus DNA should match Mary's--because she is from the
Nazarain Levites.

where we as spiritual and religious people can come to with questions that are of some real value. All these foolish questions and foolish answers need to be removed and not allowed to be put on here at this section. I know that some of you don't care and have a free will to do as you please, but it's time to grow up and stop all these childish things.
