Because I am a sheep in need of a shepherd. I am humble enough to realize that leaning on my own human understanding of things is basically striving after the wind. I have a deep need for God and all he represents. I don't think I would have made it this far if not for my respect and love for God. It kept me out of loads of trouble as a teenager.

What is your philosophy? Proverbs 16:25 says, " There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." I hope that you are right with God and not just believing some worldly philosophy that makes you feel good.

Religion is not for everybody, but it does help stabalize one's lifestyle. As a Catholic, I feel that by keeping the faith, I can get through tougher situations or circumstances. It makes me feel psychologically peaceful with my well-being. Also, having faith helps you overcome despair or sadness. You feel the need to turn things around for the better. That's my two cents.

Because the Lord choose me to follow it and also it is the Only way to Eternal Life. But I read a comment you posted and it was very smart and something that most people dont know about but should and that makes me smile that you know what you know.

1. I was raised in it.
2. I tested it as a youth and it proved to be what it said it was.
3. I continue to live according to it's precepts and I continue to feel the truthfulness of it's doctrines.
In summary, I did what was required to be born of the spirit and I continue to retain that spiritual connection by continuing to live in harmony with the teachings and commandments of the Gospel.
By the power of the Holy Ghost, ye may know the truth of all things.
