Not asking to be offensive. I'm simply curious. Growing up, I used to hear stories about JW and their fear of Smurfs.

I ask this last week, only one response and that was from the wife of a christian man. Men,being christian and following Gods laws, do you ever succumb to the sexual, sinful lustful, temptations, of the the world? Do you sneak and watch porn when no one is looking? Do you secretly desire your wifes friend, sister, neghibor? Do you touch yourself where you shouldnt? Do you lie to your wife? about anything? Do you fantasize about women on the street that are dressed like whores? These are serious questions I am curious. Because if you answer yes to any of these, what seperates you from the worldly man? Some brave christian man answer please I respect honesty no matter how ugly it is!!

If you study history, both ancient and modern, wouldn’t you agree that most of the troubles of the world have been caused by religions? From the Islam/Christian battles of the Crusades through the schisms in Christianity through to modern times religious differences have been the primary source of persecution and bloodshed.

In recent decades we have seen Muslim v Hindu, Catholic v Protestant, Sunni v Shia and hosts of other violent struggles. We have seen ethnic cleansing in Bosnia, violence in Sri Lanka, cross border conflict in South Asia, insurgency in Iraq. We have seen the persecution of Jews by Christians and of Muslims by Jews, the banning of Christianity in Saudi Arabia, the barely disguised infidel rhetoric of George Bush. We have seen school text books in Saudi Arabia calling Christians pigs and Jews apes.

Surely the world would be a happier safer place if religions didn’t exist?

God. I am of Jewish heritage and none of my family has been religious or even believers. My kids were the first generation to be born in America, everyone else has been born in Belarus. Religious wasn't ever big in our town. My parents never taught me religion, or faith in god. I found out everything on my own. I believed in him, not religion, up untill my mother passed away when I was a young girl. I guess it scarred me, because I have not believe in anything. I really want to believe in God, I feel like it'll help me out in life. Something I can rely on or believe it. It feels nice to believe in something. How do I go about this. However, since I don't follow religion, I don't believe in it. Never have and I guess never will. I find it to be RUBBISH. All of it, inclduing Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, etc. I have nothing against believer, by all means. I just feel like it's a bunch of babba jabba. Although, I want to believe in God. Can I be helpd?

if it is true that Kjv and NIV have different translations of the same verse doesnt this mean that men have the ability to change the word of God despite what some christians believe? the use of the word unicorn, might be a Kjv translation of something the Prophet used as an example to compare contemporary beliefs, but the NIV, so im told, has a different translation, and calls the unicorn something else. just in this one example YOU can prove that the bible is NOT perfectly preserved, but it does not prove that the gospel of Jesus christ is NOT true.

All we really know is what others have taught us to know. We are fed there beliefs and we agree or disagree with what suits us.So, how does one honestly know the God honest truth about anything? If scripture is true when it says there nothing new under the sun, then we are just learning old recycled information. Am I right?

It has what appears to be a really old embossed leather cover with brass and mother of pearl flowers and a cross. Really beautiful book. I can't find a date on it, thought someone might know the era it came from. Thanks

Christian, I actually just found a book buried in my backyard. This is huge. It actually dates back to the first day of the earth according to it's writings. It says that 'do not believe in the bible, for this is the great rhinosaurus of Gladolia, the one and true creator and lover of man. The supernatural rhinosaurus' name is Moomoo.' Now, in here it Moomoo says to have faith in his religion and to not let things like Christianity and all those other religions cause you not to believe. Moomoo says that Christianity was actually created by a Giraffe who is the anti-god. The Giraffe made all the other religions just to keep you all from being a Fumpydumpy. That is the name of Moomoo's religion. Well, I don't know about you Christians, but as long as I see this book in my backyard claiming to be true, I'm going to believe it. It says if I don't I'll be going to the electric chair forever when I die. Please Christians have faith and become a fumpydumpy. The loving Moomoo loves you.

is it possible that christianity lost the truth before Luther protested against the Catholic church and even before the catholic church became a world wide power of satanic proportions?
if one man can disagree with a world wide religion and begin a protestant movement based on a few scriptures, how wrong was the catholic church in translating the bible and interpreting its meanings, and how corrupted is the protestant and evangelical movement that disagree with Luther? to me, in my opinion, any blind man can see christianity doesnt know the whole truth? why is this so? is it not because people are taught they ARE GIVEN the truth according to tradition? did not Jesus rebuke the pharisees for believing in false traditions? Did not paul say that people will turn to FABLES rather than believe in sound doctrine?

We use the term a lot today. But what exactly does it mean?
Isn't simply telling someone they are being "negative", negative?
We have put a thought in that persons mind that he or she is a negative person.
All we hear is, "You're NOT doing this!" And, "You WON'T do that!" "You NEVER do this!"
Tell others, "You CAN!"
