I'm a christian, and believe that the people that have it the hardest in life are chirstians and people of the faith of god and Jesus.I feel the reasons we have it the hardest is because of The devil. The devil wants us chirstians because we are children of god. He doesn't bother those who don't accept jesus because he knows hes has them.I'm not perfect but i feel like i'm a failure to god and jesus. I know its the devil trying to make me depress. My dream is to become a preacher but how can I if i'm a screw up. i'm not an adult yet i'm only 17 but i feel like i screwed up so many times in my life that can't be that.If anyone read this i could use some advice. I mean i read and fully understand the bible but i'm afraid of letting god down.

Look what is going on in the world...no god of heaven would let that go on. No god would let millions of people starve in Africa, no god will let these idiotic relgion wars go on or wars for power.

Yet why do people still believe in god? I used to believe in God, but as i grow older i get to learn that maybe god never did exist in first place. And its just something created by someone 1000s of years ago.

ok I asked a question about mormon beliefs whether they were true or not and I got some pretty heated answers. I am not saying it is anymore absurd than any other religion I guess when you are raised to believe one thing anything different sounds strange. the question I was trying to ask was do mormons believe that if they are able to enter the celestial kingdom they can become a god of their own planet? and do mormons believe god was at one time a man on another planet who was exalted to godhood to become the god over earth? those are my main questions I just wasn't sure if that is true or if it is just something that someone posted on the internet..i know things can get twisted and I just wanted to make sure this is the truth so any answers or help would be appreciated!

" Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days shall you labour and do all your work. But the SEVENTH-DAY IS THE SABBATH OF THE LORD YOUR GOD......." Exodus 20:8-10

isn't the seventh day saturday....so why do so many christians worship on sunday??

It never ceases to amaze me how people want to convert others to their way of thinking and condemn them when they won't.

Here's a thought! What if Jesus is there for the Christian, Mohommad there for the Muslims, Buddah there for the Buddhist etc etc etc

"After trying for 30 minutes to bring two-week-old Woody Lander back to life, doctors decided there was nothing more they could do and called in his parents to say their tearful farewells.

A nurse passed Woody to his heartbroken father and gently pulled a tube from his mouth so they could kiss him goodbye.

It was then that the miracle happened.

The lifeless baby suddenly coughed and moved. Nurses immediately grabbed Woody back, re-attached the tubes and lifesaving equipment and he came back to life in front of his astonished parents."

Even the most horrible and evil person, even Satan himself, would be need to be imbued with some Essence of God, like a lynch pin that grants existence. And if everything has some hint of God in it, everything has some aspect of his goodness, grace, and law; correct?

That said, if God's crowning glory is the human soul, then why must we follow the Bible instead of reflect upon our inner experience (mind or soul) as that would undoubtedly house some "map" to salvation via the grace God imbued in each and every one of us. To have an external map (the Bible) handed to you and instructed upon it by an external source, you open yourself up to the fallibility of others (their biases, greed, power lust, "telephone game" effect, etc.)which seems wildly counter intuitive. Instead of looking deep within yourself to find God (which is where everyone always finds him anyway),people think you need a proxy from a clergy or book, both controlled by Men (agents of free will mind you) for 2000 years.

I have been through some terrible times in the last two yrs, and I saw somebody ask a similar question...i come from a very intuitive family if you will, and I would like to know if there is anybody out there that can see what the near future will bring as well as whether or not you can tell me what I have been through. I am looking for kind of specific things...I will know if I am being told the truth. I have never asked this online before...so I am giving it a try. Please help...I would like to know I am headed to the right path.

Either way since 'acting' righteous is something you claim yourself is not judged upon.

Some people can be the most cruel, criminal people in the world, and does that mean you automatically assume they actually don't believe in God?
According to you, they are given a chance to repent, and if they do, they are allowed to go to heaven.
Therefore, you say that being good doesn't matter, evil people can easily get into heaven without any punishment if they are truly "sorry", repent and believe in Jesus.

So again, why would God even care whether you acted good or not, since that is not what you are judged on, or even punished for?
