Thanks to everybody offering steaks instead of stakes. Cowboy style please, burnt on the outside and still bleeding inside, baked potato, sour cream and some salad on the side.

Well, do you mean a stake in which to burn them? Nah, that did not go so well in Salem.

But, if my Church were having a Barbecue and they were serving steaks (which is funny since I grill steaks and Barbeque's chicken, ribs, well you get the idea) I would certainly invite anyone I thought might benefit from a good meal and decent conversation. They can eat what they see fit and if I thought they were avoiding the "choice" meats by way of timidity I would most assuredly plop a big ole steak on their plate and tell them to dig in.

James address the treatment of "lesser" peoples in his named book and many Christians should give it a closer read and look in the mirror while doing it. Aside from getting cross-eyed and looking silly they may learn something about themselves too!

When You Say Godless My Dear Chap, Do You Mean The Undead And All That? And This...Stake You So Willingly Offer Them, Will THAT Go Thru Their Hearts As Well? My Friend What You Have There Is An Absolutely Diabolical Franchise!! "It's Bloody Brilliant!!!"

Well, on one hand a Christian is commanded by God to share His word with "Godless" persons...so absolutely I would feel comfortable inviting a "Godless" person to church, a church function, to share a moment or two with me discussing my faith.
On the other hand, a "Godless" person does not generally accept invitations to what you have made an example of and would not listen to a Christian speak, as Christians we are taught to not "cast pearls amongst swine" in other words, we offer the word of God and the promise of His eternal love and are attacked, we walk away.
I hope you meant steak...

I wouldn't offer them a stake...but how about a nice steak, done the way you like it, baked potatoe, with the worx, some nice salad, and maybe some banana cream pie for desert?
We don't even have to talk about God, if they don't want to....

I would definitely feel uncomfortable if somebody offered me a stake. But a steak would be a different matter.

Would you feel comfortable telling someone that a barbecue can appear out of nothing?

"This was discovered about 1946 when they were creating the atomic bombs and proved with the first detonation. That matter and energy can actually come out of nothing took them longer to proove but it was done at CERN in the late eighties I think.

Matter and energy can come out of nothing? Thanks for the laugh. good luck with middle school.

Do not mind the Godless people. Just pray to God that someday they will repent and ask forgiveness of their sins and return to God. They will be called later by God to serve Him.

What is your version of Godless? If a Satan worshiper invited you to a barbeque, would you go? What are the odds?
