It is not who you were yesterday, It is who you are today, Jesus loves you and, Satan is dampening your spirit, Your self worth Spirit, You are worthy, of The Lord, You and the Lord is all that matters, once you and the Lord has taken care of things between the Lord and yourself, Nothing else matters, NO one else matters, let them think what they want, let them say what they want,It dose not matter because, you and the Lord have made things right... Trust your faith in our Lord He will take care of the rest of everything !...Satan has you thinking you are a failure, Jesus would not have you think this at all, do you know why Satan is being able to do these things to you,Because your spirit and faith is week, And Satan is and has weekend it, You can give Satan a chance to get into your mind, sometimes we completely get Satan out of or hearts, but if not our minds, which is very bad, and dangerous, because this is how He gets control of you...and gets you depressed, listen you have to keep God own your mind with everything you come up against, Even the Good that happens with us,,,Everything you come up against, Handel it, with God before you even go through it or even temp it face it...These temptations that we face in Life, are to learn from not to crucify ourselves...You dont let nothing get in front of your dreams, Jesus is calling you that is why Satan is trying to put a stop to you...and this is to build your faith not to weekend it...Where have you let your self worth go...Wisdom, your Spirit is really messy the words that you are choosing are not good wisdom, you should use messed up.You have got to understand the word and the true meaning of Self control...Self control of how you Hear things, self control of how you say things, and self control of your body language, and How you allow your spirit to come across,...living for God their is no way you would ever let Him Down, The Lord wants you to have a positive attitude about everything not just some things, And you self being one of them, A positive attitude is a magnet for positive results, And wanting to preach is very Positive, And a negative attitude will always bring negative results...Read the Bible all you can own Wisdom... The beat wisdom I was ever thought was from My Daddy who was a man of grate wisdom, And that was to learn right from wrong, And to always love the Lord with all my Heart soul and mind, and to place all I face before The Lord first...God bless you, and You go for this Dream of yours, and dont let nothing like Satan, even come close, to slowing you down, Dreams are made to come true..But only you can do that.God bless the USA and Israel and All

You are not going to let God down,Be sure of your Call ,then move, when He gives you the next step, in the interium Prepare
Search out A Believer and let Him Mentor You, Maybe the Street corner is a Good place to start Preaching,First few times a little anxious,You:ll get over it.
The Devil wants to Kill -Destroy all of God:s Creation,You are going to take some Hits-no matter, Believer or Unbeliever,This Walk of Faith comes with Scars. Rain falls on the just and the unjust. You Battle Satan with the Word of God,not your words God:s Word.

You can't blame any of your sins on the devil. But we are all a failure before God, we can claim no ability of our own to merit heaven.
If you wish to become a "preacher", you will need to get into seminary. You will need a Master of Divinity degree for most denominations, and you have a long, difficult road ahead with all of the studies in front of you. The good news is that it can be done, you just have to put your nose to the grindstone and get it done. Do not stop your education out of high school. Keep going, do well in your current studies, and you'll get there.

Hi Rich. To begin with, we are all screw ups in God's eyes. Original sin did that for us. That being said, let me tell you a little story. My Pastor was a really bad guy before he found Jesus. His testimony tells of a drug dealer who was also hooked on the drugs he was selling. I will not go into anymore detail, but he was on a really bad road. He found Jesus, and asked for forgiveness, guidance and help. He became clean, went to college and became a preacher, starting as a children's pastor and working his way up to pastor of the church. Do not let Satan cause you doubt. If you feel that God wants you to become a preacher, go for it. Good luck and God bless you.

It looks to me that you have a humble heart. This is what God wants, not perfection, you can't do perfection.
Realize this, you WILL let God down, but he won't let you down.
Why did God create you? You are here to love and serve God for HIS purpose. God will use you in spite of you being a screw up.
Look at everyone in the bible, David, Paul, Peter they were ALL screw ups. David not only committed adultery he had the women's husband killed! And God forgave him. David was one of God's favorites. Peter denied knowing Jesus 3 times! Paul held the robes of the people that stoned Stephen and he was arresting Christan's!
You can't be perfect, you will sin, "All sin and fall short of the glory of God' You are perfected through Jesus. As you get older you do better(hopefully). You are "Purified by obeying God" BUT you will sin. Dang this flesh!
If you are being called God wants You! not some perfect non human.
God bless you, you will grown in Christ IF you stay in his word. Remember , "Faith come by hearing the word of God"
You are a breath of fresh air and I am saying a prayer for you right now!!!

I am also a Christian and I'm only 13, so I hope the advice I give is helpful, I was at my cousin's church in Indiana(I'm from California) and there was a advertisement to hear a preaching by a guy named Sy Rogers( I think) anyway, he used to be gay but God changed him and now he's a preacher, and God will forgive you no matter how big the sin, just look at David, he had sex with Bathsheba and God still forgave him, even tho he had to pay a price, so I'm sure whatever you did is not as big as that, just trust the Lord and let Him take control of your life

You are going to get some good answers here but put it all together and you will come up with your own solution. So here is what happened and to me.Sometimes you think that God is calling you for something and you really think that you know what it is and for me I was way off base.I even announced to my family that I was going to become a preacher, but I knew down deep inside that that was not what he wanted for me. God wanted me to play Gospel music and minister in music. Thai t was the last thing that I wanted to do,I am not the type of person to draw attention to myself especially through music. Its taken me about nine years to figure out his calling for my life......OK here is the saying that is so important to me..."God doesn't call the equipped he equips the called".: I don't know if this helps at all but just be sure it is what God wants and not what you want, but don't turn your back on what God wants for you.

I understand your pain Bro. I battled the my deamons for years and still do. I fought a long battle to quit weed, finally I did last year. I still need to give up smoking cigarettes. But I know one day God will give me the victory over the devil. Just Believe in Jesus and through him you can live a victorious life. If you really want to be a preacher and have a passion for it then pray to God to make you one and act on it by faith (PERSUE IT). Maybe you could volunteer in church for starters.

Brother, you just made God oh so proud and happy. God loves you unconditionally! Pursue your calling to become a preacher! Pastors are not perfect, nor are they without sin! Even Christians sin for it is human nature and we are not divine. You make mistakes and God KNOWS your heart and when you ask for forgiveness, he knows you are sorry from your heart. You are young but much wiser than many who are older. God wants you to forgive yourself as well so that you can move on and do the work for him that he has called you to do. Keep your faith and talk to God, Smile Brother, He loves you!!
Remember, what the Father has given to Jesus (you have been given to Jesus) no one can snatch from his hands! When you are weak, he is strong!
