Someone once posted "If we ignore athiests on here, do you think they would go away?" This was responded by, "If you think we ignore Christians, they will go to the Mythology/Folklore Section?" It is all a matter of opinion. From my point of view, Christianity is a religion, since it is practiced commonly. Things such as Roman polytheism is very rare to find in the current day, and should be categorized under Mythology. I'm not sure what is talked about in the Mythology/Folklore section specifically, but I bet it is interesting.

Mythology/Folklore are recognized as stories, perhaps loosely based on fact, but with much fantasy/inaccuracies mixed in.
While groups dispute as to which religion, if any, is correct, there are people that believe it's true.
Also, mythology/folklore are more akin to history and where we came from. Religion/spirituality is related to how we live our lives now.

No, they are not the same at all.
Also I do not think all Religions and Spirituality ought to be grouped together like that since it is so diverse. Perhaps Religions and Spirituality needs to be a group with branches under it. I say that they move it up one, since it does not fit under Society and Culture very well (unless that entire society and culture accepts a religion).

No,I think that there should be other subsections though. Many don't care for religion and spirituality in the same section.It brings up too many conflicts with those who feel the right to post certain questions to their own type of faith or interests. What you're suggesting is even more conflicts especially with the tone of your question.

No, but I think they should delete both sections, because it is a major cause for problems on here, and theres different ways of finding out information via other than this website, and I am religious.
