If you can spare a few minutes, take this quiz and then post your results. Did it match up with what your current belief is? I'm not trying to prove anything, I'm just curious.
For the seventeen years of my life I've been raised Catholic but the past few years I've disliked it and started taking an interest in Judaism. The third time I've taken the test was today and, all three times, I've scored 100% compatibility with Reform Judaism. SO here's my top 10:

1. Reform Judaism (100%)
2. Liberal Quakers (97%)
3. Unitarian Universalism (91%)
4. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (86%)
5. Bah' Faith (80%)
6. Neo-Pagan (77%)
7. Orthodox Judaism (69%)
8. New Age (69%)
9. Sikhism (67%)
10. Islam (64%)

What are you?

if god is all powerful and all knowing, it is IMPOSSIBLE to have free will. HE knows all, which would be past, present, and future. HE is all powerful, so he control all past, future, and present. HE created us to do what he wants and we commit sins. So, he must be evil. Can one person give me a logical reasoning for this so called supreme being that seems to be a fantasy much like a square circle, or will you cop out with "have faith."

And doesn't that mean you're a hypocrite?

I am a little sadistic. I get maximum entertainment viewing blessings-brokers parading the healed to add to their credibility, claiming that God answered their prayers through tearful prayers. When they pray, they cry, - no tears please - and distort their faces and features and raise their hands copying Jesus Christ in His prayers. Is our God that cruel that He makes us cry? Evangelists say that Satan sow diseases and Christ runs after and heals the victim - only after registering their tearful prayers. Why Jesus Christ allows Satan to do this evil? We believe we were His creations and does He not have a duty and responsibility to look after our welfare, as we did not choose this life we possess? Our earthly fathers take this responsibility far more seriously and are to be emulated by Heavenly-beings. I believe in the Ultimate that is our God and I am unable to digest this senseless nonsense? The image of God is tarnished by His own creations and they indulge in faith abuses.

Christians believe that "God" was, is, and always will be. WE could say the same about the universe. Is it possible that christians could be refering the universe when they use the word "God"

Ok I am not here to argue. I am not gay but I do have some gay friends. Ok I know the Bible pretty well and I almost have a 2 year biblical studies degree. I know the verses in Romans and Leviticus where you will quote. In that passage in Romans you have to understand during that time people were doing all sorts of sexual rites to there gods and stuff. There was a lot of that going on during that time. So straight men and women were doing awful stuff with each other and with the same sex to please the gods. I have researched this ok. Also in Leviticus that was for the priesthood and it also said the priest couldnt do a lot of other things. God was trying to keep his people seperate from other pagan religions at that time. Also do you remember choosing to be straight no you just always have been. Also there are animals that have same sex relations. People who say they arent gay anymore were never gay anyway most of them had if you listen a lot of bad stuff happen to them in there past

If a believer, what do you believe?
If a seeker, what do you seek? What are you doing to find the answers? What would help you?
If a non-believer, what would it take for you to believe?

Ive been having a problem with my girlfriend for like 3 weeks now. Ive been with her for three years, but whenever we talk about the subject of abortion we end up getting mad at each other. I don't approve of it, its just something I really oppose for my own personal reasons, and she does. I don't know if this is something that can break a relationship up or not, but I wish I knew what to do. I believe myself to be a good Catholic I go to mass every Sunday when I can, and she wants to be a catholic, but i don't know how to explain to her if she can still be a Catholic with her belief that abortion is ok. Just lost, and wish we didn't have to argue about this.

Whenever a question comes up asking why there is still rape, murder, war, famine and crime on a world created by a benevolent god you will invariably answer: "God gave humans free will".

So you say the perpetrators of these actions are exercising free will. Fair enough. But what about the victims? Are they exercising their free will as well? Think they went out to get murdered, raped, abused or killed?

Or was their death or abuse part of gods plan? And if so, how was the perpetrator exercising their free will again? Also, how is that good?

In which Jesus was publicly tried but then substituted for a condemned man while carrying the cross, and then escorted away by Roman solders?

Was it a deal in which Jesus had agreed not to appear in public anymore, and to stay at the house of his wealthy uncle while arranging his affairs -- and then be exiled abroad?

Did Jesus get his uncle to make his followers think he had resurrected, when they removed the condemned man's body from Jesus' uncle's sepulchre the next day?

Had Jesus learned ahead of time that such a deal was being worked out? Had there earlier been informal contacts between Jesus and the Romans?

Where did Jesus finally go, after being exiled?

Why did the Romans come up with this deal rather than execute Jesus as the Sanhedrin had been demanding?

Did Jesus manage to sneak out of his uncle's house a couple of times, and to meet his followers?

And who were the two men who told his followers that he had ascended into heaven and would return?

Yes, that is the question. Where do we begin? Is it possible to live with a question until we know the answer? I find it odd that I existed, time bound, for years before I knew the answer. And yet the answer was always with me.

I am 23- raised catholic. I was baptized, had first communion but I did not complete my CCD classes and was not confirmed.

I was married in the catholic church. My husband is going to begin the process now of becoming catholic.

My question is do I need to be confirmed? Can I go through the classes with him? I believe I am recognized as Catholic since my church married us. Is confirmation a necessary sacrament?

Thanks for any imput

I see a lot of atheists or others that don't believe in God say how they "never" push there beliefs, but there they are answering the questions with something like "Jesus doesn't exist" or "God is imaginary". If your not going to answer the question for real why bother answering. It's like me saying how to I talk to my kids about peer pressure and someone answers by saying "I don't like kids" or "kids are nothing but trouble" It doesn't make any sense and it's a waste of time.
