I see a lot of atheists or others that don't believe in God say how they "never" push there beliefs, but there they are answering the questions with something like "Jesus doesn't exist" or "God is imaginary". If your not going to answer the question for real why bother answering. It's like me saying how to I talk to my kids about peer pressure and someone answers by saying "I don't like kids" or "kids are nothing but trouble" It doesn't make any sense and it's a waste of time.

You're right. They shouldn't butt into questions that clearly don't ask for their involvement. I'm atheist, but I respect other's right to believe. I will answer questions addressed to atheists, or that can include atheists opinions. (Though atheists aren't the only one's that do that, Christians do it, too.)

I agree, but to be fair, that is a human trait, not an atheist trait. Christians do the same to athiests and pagans all the time.

To piss you off... why else... kind of like when someone learns that someone else is a cat lover and he/she might tell the cat lover... "I love little kittens... they taste just like chicken"... It's for shock and awe...
