In which Jesus was publicly tried but then substituted for a condemned man while carrying the cross, and then escorted away by Roman solders?

Was it a deal in which Jesus had agreed not to appear in public anymore, and to stay at the house of his wealthy uncle while arranging his affairs -- and then be exiled abroad?

Did Jesus get his uncle to make his followers think he had resurrected, when they removed the condemned man's body from Jesus' uncle's sepulchre the next day?

Had Jesus learned ahead of time that such a deal was being worked out? Had there earlier been informal contacts between Jesus and the Romans?

Where did Jesus finally go, after being exiled?

Why did the Romans come up with this deal rather than execute Jesus as the Sanhedrin had been demanding?

Did Jesus manage to sneak out of his uncle's house a couple of times, and to meet his followers?

And who were the two men who told his followers that he had ascended into heaven and would return?

Jesus' followers were told to meet at a certain time and place, and when they got there two of Jesus' uncle's employees were there and told them that Jesus had just ascended into heaven and would be returning in a few years.
Jesus had told them previously that he was going and would return in their lifetime.
Presumably Jesus had known of the the plan to put a condemned man in his place.

It's interesting too to note that in his ministry Jesus never said anything bad about the Romans, but plenty of bad things about the Pharasees.

"Why did the Romans come up with this deal rather than execute Jesus as the Sanhedrin had been demanding?"

Look, the Romans were very strong people, they had an empire and they had the ability to control the Jews, they shouldn't have listened to the Sanhedrins if they found jesus "not guilty", see, even the Romans wanted Jesus dead and they hated him as much as the Sanhedrins dead, so that's why they agreed to kill Jesus, the pontius pilate probably lied, because he was bad.

Obviously the Bible account is fiction, but who's to say what really happened?

Yes, Jesus' uncle was wealthy and owned a trading company in Jerusalem, and perhaps he had agreed to help out in the deal. I've heard that Jesus was escorted by two Roman soldiers when he boarded the ship, and they were assigned to sail with him and make sure he left the country.

Who knows where he went after that.

I assume your reading some fiction story you might try for the real thing it reads a whole lot better than what your reading now. Start with the part where Thomas says he didn't believe that Jesus rose from the dead; until he could see the place in his hands where they put the nails and see the sword mark where they pierced his side.. and Jesus appeared to them in the locked room.

I don't know where you got these theories. Is it in the Koran? Buddist? Hindu? Did you make it up? Is there a religion that teaches that or an historical record?

I choose to believe the only eyewitness accounts in the New Testament.

When Jesus secretly met his followers he even put marks on his hands and arms just in case anyone might doubt he had been crucified.

He was excuted before tons of eye witnesses and the temple curtain was torn in two and their was an earthquake.
The soldier said, "He was the son of God."
Hundreds saw him die and the Romans were not very good at covering it up which they tried to do.
