Instead of getting paid? Would there be a shortage of priest/pastors?

How can you, plural, those of you who call yourselves Christian who have corrupted his message so thoroughly and completely makes me ill, though I will pray for you as I always do. You would believe the church, the body of christ, his house, is a building and certain people have been granted authority to interpret his words for you. I feel so sad for you sheep because the wolf is at the door and all you can say is repeat "baaaa" because that is all the wolf has taught you. Your preachers and your ministers are wolves wearing the sheep's clothing. Christ's church IS his people and all are equal and none are qualified to speak on his behalf. He speaks directly to his flock. Holy crap you guys really need to wake up and start seeking because he's not hiding, he's being hidden from you.

I am curious about the LDS church and was interested in talking with someone, like a missionary, but I would prefer to communicate through email rather than in person.

Does anyone know how I can do this? Where to find a missionary or a member of the church to communicate with via email?

Thank you.

If your god wasn't around to say "always be good and do good", would you ever feel compelled to do good anyway? Would you be able to tell whether anything is "good" or "bad"?

If your god wasn't around to say "evildoers will be punished forever", would you feel any regret about doing things that you consider evil? Would you consider anything evil at all or would every action and consequence be equal in your eyes?

Ever since the Muhammad lead twenty six separate battles of war in his effort to conquer Arabia, Islam has literally been at war. The Quran is almost entirely a description of Muhammad's wars.

After Muhammad, several Islamic empires expanded the Islamic land holdings through the invocation of "Jihad", which was also know as the doctrine of "the house of islam and the house of war". Anyone not in the lands or "house of islam" exist in the "house of war" that will soon be conquered by Islam. Better than six hundreds years of warfare followed under this banner.

The greatest genocide in human history was because of Islam, or the doctrine of Jihad. World renowned historian Francois Gautier said (before 911) “Let it be said right away: the massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks”

Jihad is recaste now via terrorism. Is it time for reform you think?

I think many of you haven't understand the concept of God. "God is only one non beside him can be praised. God cannot begotten (never born he was existed and exists forever) and God cannot give birth (unlike humans).

Every Human is a creation of God, then their is no question that parents created us its God who creates. Parents are just a source

This is with reference to my previous question for which I received answers.

What's the difference between helping humanity and spending inordinate amounts of time getting high on dope?

They both make us feel good but have exactly the same ends. No matter what we do, all is finite. All is pointless without Big G.

I'm just wondering what your individual philosophies are. When you think about this problem, what calms you and gives you direction in life?

If he is going to change his laws, how are Jews, Christians and Muslims going to find out about it?

What is God's plan? The omniscient, omnipotent God doesn't need plans. Plans are a limitation of power. We make plans because we are not all-knowing nor all-powerful. In order for God to have a plan, or design, wouldnt that make him as humanistic as you or I? Limited?

It amazes me how stupid some people can be.

People, this is not for debate. Its a very straight forward thing. RELIGION is a sub-group of BELIEFS. Theres are many different types of beliefs in the world. Some beliefs are bad or have a negative impact on humanity as a whole. Nazism was one such belief.

"Religion cant be bad, only people can be".

This is stupidity beyond stupidity. People are the religion. There is no separate "pure and magical" religion. It exists within the people themselves. Its like saying "the internet is a separate thing from computers". No its not, the internet is merely a conglomeration of computers all over the world.

"Internet" is merely a word we use to describe how many computers communicate globally. Likewise, "Islam" is merely a word we use to describe a group of people who hold similar beliefs.

The insanity of absolving a non-existant separate "Islam" from the horror of Islamists should lead to immediate entrance into a mental institution.

And really believe that there's an omnipotent, omniscient, supernatural person who knows with total certainty that their destiny is eternal bliss or eternal torment (or annihilation, for those of that interpretive persuasion)?

All they ever do is ridicule religion.
There are several very good arguments which logically prove the existence of an intelligent, supernatural Creator (such as, causality, prime mover, design, information origin etc.), but I have never heard EVEN ONE logical argument for the non-existence of God. They claim that a belief in god is illogical, so instead of giving us the usual tactics of ridiculing religion or making the spurious claim of having a monopoly of scientific wisdom, can we have a LOGICAL argument similar to those listed above, JUST FOR ONCE?
