What REFORMS ARE NEEDED IN ISLAM?

Ever since the Muhammad lead twenty six separate battles of war in his effort to conquer Arabia, Islam has literally been at war. The Quran is almost entirely a description of Muhammad's wars.

After Muhammad, several Islamic empires expanded the Islamic land holdings through the invocation of "Jihad", which was also know as the doctrine of "the house of islam and the house of war". Anyone not in the lands or "house of islam" exist in the "house of war" that will soon be conquered by Islam. Better than six hundreds years of warfare followed under this banner.

The greatest genocide in human history was because of Islam, or the doctrine of Jihad. World renowned historian Francois Gautier said (before 911) “Let it be said right away: the massacres perpetuated by Muslims in India are unparalleled in history, bigger than the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis; or the massacre of the Armenians by the Turks”

Jihad is recaste now via terrorism. Is it time for reform you think?

Remember, Islam supresses innovation so once the industrial revolutio occured, Islamic warpower ceased.

Islam has always relied on its numbers to overpower non-muslim forces, but now ever since the possiblities of TERRORISM as a vehicle of Jihad took hold in the Islamic world, the inferno of Jihad has speard again.

as we look at so much Islamic violence going on and what the leaders themselves are saying and the violence they teach to their children it seems you are right. For those who claim Islam to be a religion of peace which seems to not be true they need to prove it. Step up and speak out especially the leaders and prove from there holy books that Islam is peaceful and loudly condemn those who are violent. They should raise up and help fight against those who use terror to kill innocents and children. Come on peaceful leaders where are you?

Am sorry guys, but most of u didnt even read quraan...or even read abt islam, and some of u read books that tell ppl that islam is evil...and some even read translated copies of quraan that is just total B.S...

Anyone who read the true quraan - which u can get from egypt or any arabic country...or maybe even on the internet on arabic sites if u searched well - knows that its not all abt war, abt jihad and war u will find that only 1\3 or less of quraan is abt war and jihad...the rest is abt stories of nations came before islam, like jews and then christians...and quran is also abt many moral values like honesty and forgiveness...and many other values that if i wrote abt here it will take me hours, also u say that islam never won unless it had more numbers than the enemy...what do u know abt that ? have u read islamic history ? did u know that in many wars between muslims and non muslim arabs they was outnumbered ?muslims rarely won by greater numbers, they won by tactics and help from allah, they had leaders like khaled ebn el waleed who once made one of the most successful retreat plans ever...what do u all know abt islamic history ? can u even name 2 or 3 battles that muslim won ? ppl....ur minds have been washed by ur media to the point that u cant think for urselfs anymore...read before u go around sayin islam is evil, its bad for u, it will kill us all, stop the islamophobia for god's sake

Look up the word jihad in the dictionary, and stop watching the news. Non of what you said is correct. Their are no reforms needed other than the fear that other people have of what they don't understand.

The greatest massacres have been done by Christians, not Muslims. Look up The Crusades, Inquisitions, Witch Trails, the Cathars, the murders of the Templars...

For Islam to be reformed muslims need to reject parts of the Quran and revise it. Islam teaches that if change a single word of the Quran you'll automatically burn in hell for eternity. So, If we think that is going to happen we are kidding ourselves.
