I am not Catholic. But I can't help wonder what the non-catholic guy's beleifes are.
You see, although I think the doctrine of the catholic church is in error, I also think that the doctrine of most Christian churches are in error. False beliefs adopted by the christians from the 2nd century on have taken deep root even in the protestant churches.
I would advise all would be christians, to test every aspect of their base beliefs, to begin to purge the god dishonoring teachings that have their origins in paganism.
