When a book that is about hate, bigotry, condemnation, judgement, intolerance, and jealousy is considered an accurate protrayal of God than the followers of this book adopt the same characteristics.

The Christians that do not take the bible literally are more intelligent and open minded. That is not a coincidence.

On yesterday, I think I got a sign.... I was on my way to work,
my job is 60 miles away, mind you. Half way there, my car
broke down, right beside a mechanic shop. He towed it
in for a good price. But I gave up my job, because, I am in
pursuit of my destiny. Besides, I was gonnna show up today,
but called out, once more. Simply for the fact that I wanna
move on, and go after my career in music, as well as
my other business. My taxes are coming back via
mail, and getting another job at this beach resort will not
be a problem. So what should one do ? Get another job
until things get better.... Or go after my destiny ?

If we start believing in what medical science has to say, we are in a big trap. It constantly keeps saying that we are evolving and we need to evolve. If we start absolutely believing that then we are going to end up constantly competing against each other opening up all bad faculties of humanity like getting egocentric, hatred, jealousy and all other evil. We cannot help much there. Our core belief is to become materially successful. If we don't compete others would take it over and you would look like a loser to yourself. Which nobody wants to be. This is all because we believe that we are physical bodies.
If we started believing that we are not physical bodies but are souls like what all religions suggest, then our motives and actions will be working towards that. Then there is no fight against each. This is because the same soul that is in you is also in others. What you fight against? Your own self.
Can someone give a solution to destroy all the evil without religion?

I attend a non-denominational church & would like to read the bible.

Just becuse I love God doesn't mean that I hate you, or anyone for that matter that doesn't love God and his teachings. All Christians aren't here to tell you that your going to hell. I do believe that the only way to heaven is through Jesus, but if you don't believe in that great. I hope you have a wonderful life believing the way you do. We're not all the same.

if there is a god thin why do so many bad things happin?? even when it happens to a person who did nothing wrong? i mean look at the world its geting worse!! its like no mater how much i pray more and more bad things happin to me!! no mater what i do even if i do nothin wrong ... i do believ in god well i did! now i just dont know anymore.. too many things that happin like ppl dieing without thought, or ppl geting shot just walking down the street and everything we do is a sin i mean come on we will sin everyday we will be mean sometimes we will have sex be4 marriage itleast most ppl do and we will think dirty thought we are only human so what the ?? whats going on!? and also the bible.. ppl have made up things throiugh out years and put things in there also theres so many types of bibles u wont know which is true!

The Quran conflicts with the Bible in quite a few places; I have no comment on any of them except Jesus. The Quran was written some 600 years AD, doesn't that make its description of Jesus second-hand, as opposed to the first-hand descriptions of the Son of Man from His apostles and people who have witnessed Him? So how can we believe the Quran's description of Jesus?
