According to Christian beliefs, he's omnipotent right?

So if he wanted to, he could wipe an atheist like me off the surface of the earth if it made him happy.

Actually God doesn't care what you think of him (or her), its like a flea who refuses to believe there is a dog. It doesn't change anything and the dog really doesn't care.

But it wouldn't make Him happy! For reasons only He knows, He loves all of us. Whether you are an atheist, Christian, murderer, saint or just an ordinary person~God loves us all!!! And He also knows that we can choose to change our beliefs at any time. Yes He is omnipotent but He won't make our choices for us and for reasons known only to Him, He will allow you to live until you have served your purpose. What ever that may be!!

Because becoming close to God is going to help YOU. God doesn't need us, but does love us and hopes that we'll accept Him.

However, we get much more benefit out of knowing Him than He does in our acceptance. Not only is every day with the Lord enhanced while on Earth, but you spend eternity with someone who loves you more than any human has capacity to.

The very fact that He could wipe all unbelievers out (and He will eventually - read Revelation) and He doesn't shows His capacity for love. Imagine any World leader with infinite power - do you think they'd tolerate dissent for long? The fact is, the unbelief of God is rejection of God - and is your choice.

I think that's a great question. Why would he feel the need to create billions of beings he knows in advance he will damn to eternal torment. Why would he want fear based worship? Why would he create us and then punish us for being what he made us? Why would he demand the death of an innocent to correct his mistakes? It's the craziest story ever told. And it was told by primitives. People who thought the sky was water with glass holding it back, believed in magic and who never saw a microscope. Real faith means seeing the truth no matter what it turns out to be. Look again.

He doesnt wipe you off the surface of the earth because He made you with a purpose, and He is waiting for to realize that! God died for me and you because we are sinners, and when He made us, He made us to do His will! He wants us to know Him so we can have everlasting life with Him!

It is not His will that anyone should perish but in making our own choices we often exile ourselves. It would sadden Him to wipe you off the face of the earth, but if He wanted to, He has the power so to do. Would you ever consider giving up the life of your only child to save someone else's? That is how much He loved you. He gave up His only son in order to save you from destruction. But you must first accept this gift before you will recieve its benefits. What has your "higher power" done for you lately?

Sure He could. But He loves you even if you don't love Him. So He is giving you every chance to believe.

Here is my thing, it is Saturday, is this the only thing you have to do today? Mulitlple posts denying God and objectifying Christians? Wow, what and exciting life you have.

Well, if you made little people, you'd want them to worship you, right? After all, you did put in such a lot of hard work on them... If they don't, maybe it's ok, but how would you feel if they went to worship the Divine Spirit Pig or something?
