The fish has long been the symbol of Christians for many reasons. It was used as a badge to indicate that one was a Christian. And now the badge has progressed to our cars. I guess it’s like the AAA symbol, too. It tells others that we’re ok. We’ve already been saved.

I heard a story the other day about a man whose car had broken down on the side of the road. A woman stopped to help the man and wound up taking him to a service station so he could hire a tow truck. The man commented that she shouldn’t pick up strangers like that, but he’s awfully glad she did. She said, “I usually don’t, but I saw your fish sticker on the car. So I knew it would be ok.” Hey! It really is just like AAA.

I don’t mind people telling me about their faith on their cars. They’re not trying to sell me anything. But I think businesses that use the Jesus fish in their ads, logos and signs are going too far. Are they using Jesus to sell me their plumbing supplies? Or are they simply trying to wear their badge proudly? Are all their employees also wearing it?

I don’t usually patronize these businesses. Do you?

properly there grow to be this one saint who landed on a dock in some Aegean port and all started preaching the solid information, besides the undeniable fact that the persons did not take heed to him, so the saintly individual, no longer wanting to enable an effective sermon bypass to waste, and not in any respect wanting to make the persons indignant through insisting, began preaching in route of the sea. apparently, each and each and every of the fish began swimming as a lot as him wanting to take heed to his words. people all started noticing this phenomena and commenced fairly listening to what the former guy had to assert. Fish are not any further as dumb as we assume of. God likes to lead them to do stuff.

Depends on the company. I have seen some companies that practiced what that fish leads you to believe and I have seen some that made you wonder if they knew what the fish stood for.

They are taking God's name in vain. They are using God to sell their products. They are trying to portray themselves as people of ethics in order to convince others that they are trustworthy and that their products are made without devilish additives.

They are doing it to appeal to Christians to use their products. A true Christian would be more likely to use a product that appealed to them. There is nothing wrong with either.
