Wouldn't it be funny if this religion site was really how the world is working out it's religion problems? I mean we are slugging it out in her with the Atheists and the Muslims and I wonder if we will ever reach a concensus or what? Will the battle just keep going on? And meanwhile there are all kinds of guys in suits with cigars sitting back with their computer screens making bets on who they think will sway opinion?

Rapture as in Jesus Christ returning to get the people who believed in Him arising from the grave after being crucified for our sins, the believers telling someone that He lives and that we need to repent from the things that makes the Creator unpleased.

It is so easy, really. I mean, I could say that I will die for, say, all of mankind. But, how often do we hear "I will live for mankind!" Why not live for somebody? Or everybody? I don't mean slavery, no. I mean, live! That sends a better message. Don't we like people who are "full of life?" Have fun with people!

I have been in this situation for about 4 weeks and did not know what was going on. I tried a few things and they were shut off, now tonight I was finally told that I need to make things happen for someone else. The chain of events which led me to be able to provide this service to someone I don't know yet (but will be introduced next week) is so long and convoluted that there is no way it is a coincidence. Kind of freaky when there is direct intervention, huh??!

I still can't understand why most utterly denies CHRIST'S pre-existence when the SAVIOUR HIMSELF taught that HE EXISTED with the FATHER even before the world was made.In one of HIS prayers to the FATHER, CHRIST said...
"GLORIFY THOU ME IN THY OWN PRESENCE WITH THE GLORY WHICH I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS MADE" (John 17-5, emphasis added).
Kindly notice the verb used ("HAD") which is in the past tense form and the point in time referred to ("before the world was made").
Isn't it obvious that JESUS had pre-existence...doesn't it prove also that CHRIST IS INDEED GOD...your answer is highly appreciated-thanks a lot.

Have you considered, that there's the slightest chance, that Barak Obama 'could ' fit the profile of the Anti-Christ ?

An almost 'magical' rise in popularity, originally a Muslim, attempted to re-write his personal history by writing a book about himself.. . . admitting cocaine use and 'most' everything else in his childhood.. . . . . . . . EXCEPT ONE THING. .. . . .. that he was originally a Muslim . I'm not at all implying that being a Muslim is bad.. . . .. . .but then why DID he chose to omit that entire sector of his life . If he somehow thought it was bad. . .. . . well then why did he ADMIT to the drug use ?
But consider ALL my speculations, and your own, and tell me please. . . .. .. . . .

Is there a 'chance' that he could be THE GREAT DECEIVER ?

thrown into a big room all at once, me included, and we had to see what we all looked like face to face and then slowly had to get to know each other would happen. Like, first we would slowly figure out who the Christians and the Atheist are, then we would start to speculate who was who. Like would you admit to your advatar. Would you try to guess, like hey, I think that's the guy whose avatar is of the guy standing in his underwear type thing. Do you think we would be more cordial. Seriously, what would happen.

I am pro-life, but it often seems that pro-life is only an opinion based belief. We only need an opinion to be pro-life. To save starving children takes work, money and commitment. How often do you hear someone say that they are pro-....feeding the hungry and the poor; providing shelter to the homeless; and providing medicine to the sick? Where are the bumper stickers for these causes? Where is the prayer circles for these causes? It seems much easier to have and opinion than to take action. I am not trying to down play pro-life, but we also need to realize that many more children die from lack of food, water and medicine.

As we have seen, science is a search for causes, and there are only two types of causes: intelligent and non-intelligent ( natural ).

The Darwinists' claim that Intelligent Design is not based on their " biased" definition of science. But that is arguing the circle! If your definition of science rules out intelligent causes beforehand, then you will never consider Intelligent Design science

The irony for the Darwinists is this: If Intelligent Design is not science, then neither is Darwinism. WHY? Because both Darwinists and Intelligent Desin scientists are trying to discover what happened in the past. Origin questions are forensic questions and thus require the use of forensic science principles.

For Darwinists to rule out Intelligent Design from the realm of science, in addition to ruling out themselves they would also have to rule out archaelogy, cryptology, criminal and accident forensic investigations, and the Search for Extra Terrestrial ( SETI ).

If someone like me who has a painful illness with NO MEDICAL REMEDY TO RESOLVE IT - ( i live with severe congestive heart failure & terrible edema swelling all my limbs & abdomen - a massive heart attack from a car crash caused it). I am an Orthodox Christian, I know my priest says I'll be eternally condemned for suicide. But I begged Jesus to cure me, or if He would not, then to take me soon to Him to release me from this daily torment. Tell me - just as in a human court, the judge before sentencing, hears character testimonies, evaluations of mental states, indications of remorse, takes everything into account before sentencing - then wouldn't Jesus do at least as much to evaluate my guilt & punishment.? BEfore condemning me? Jesus will know the deeper circumstances which motivated me.to end it.
I can't walk & step normally, I can't flex my legs to climb steps or wear my pants, I'm rigid like wood with water pressure swelling my tissues within. Perhaps Jesus will show me mercy?

molested children, were also devote in their belifes. I mean, do you think they honestly believed in Christ and still did the things they did. I know some of you would say no, a real Christian would never do that. I agree, but that's not what I am saying. I mean, do you think they at the time of their sins knew it was wrong and they really knew god was going to punish them and they did it anyways, or do you think they took the position just to get close to children. I really think they were devote in their own ways. I don't know if I am making sense here, but this question isn't like a joke or anything I really want to know wha tyou think?

I've heard on documentaries that one says this while others say that he hung himself. Of couse, the general belief has always been that he hung himself. It is what I was taught in Catholic school. But to our suprise when the school treated us to the 60s movie, "The Greatest Story Ever Told," He does cast himself in fire. In my King James version, I can only find one mention of Judas' fate between the four gospels. In Matthew 27:5, It says that he hung himself.

I do not hold to a literal belief in the gospels. But I admit, it is hard to find literal conflicts. Could you help me out on this one.
