The Upanishads say that heart is the seat of the soul.
You have only one soul in your body. Hence you are
given only one heart.
Advaita Siddhantam says that the Atma present in your
body is a piece of Paramatma. Paramatma is infinite.
How can the finite understand the pupose intended by
the infinite?

God created us with all the equipment we need. One heart is sufficient whereas two would be redundant. Two ears are all thats needed to hear foreword, backward and side to side. Two eyes keeps us in focus - while having eyes in the back of one's head sounds practical, our attention would not be centered, but everywhere else.
One nose seems to do pretty good in detecting smells, two hands work well enough to build houses, machines, and other complex devices. We also walk well with two legs, again serving their purpose in transporting us where we need to go.
We actually have one brain with two hemispheres and two states: Conscious and Subconscious. It's the CPU to our bodies many complex systems (heart rate, fluid circulation, lung rhythm, etc) and is central to our reasoning and communication skills.

Actually, God simply started the big bang. She's that good you know. On some planets they do have two hearts or even three or four. Up to six I think. Eventually we will have two hearts. When we deserve them. They will beat as one if you are a U2 fan. God is good enough to simply set in motion what we call evolution. She is probably elsewhere, creating new universes and playing backgammon. Little known fact, God created backgammon. Also, she does not look like Alanis Morisette. She is a little greener and more oval.

if u can say that u've got two nose and two brains...why not consider each chamber of heart as a heart..that gives u two auricles and two ventricles...a total of 4 hearts!
VKR..dude, our heart is just a pumbing organ..beautifully formed by GOD. he choose special cardiac muscles to make it so that it wont stop beating or get tiered.GOD has made us with great care, he knows what we need...better than we ourselves do.he and he alone deserves all praise and worship.

Because you only need to make one choice. Not 2 or 3... but one. And about the whole blood circulation. If you have 2 hearts then the circulation will go faster, and that is not healthy.

Why don't I have two mouths?
Or two noses? (Nostrils don't count)
Or two belly buttons.
Or two stomachs.
Or two tongues.
But really, why stop at 2? I have 32 teeth, right? Why not 32 hearts? :O
Eh -- we're mostly symmetrical. And that's fine enough for me.

Our body needs only one heart to do the function it was created to do.
With 2 hearts there would be confusion.
You say 'NO SILLY ANSWER' but your question is 'SILLY'
