I think your right. Too often (esp us Christians, sorry) judge someone on their opinion. And that is totally wrong. An opinion is something you should be entitled to, why be put in the "B" column just because a belief?

An opinion is usually a personal view, like I think it's better to have eggs and bacon for breakfast instead of cereal. A judgment is usually objective, like judging whether a certain result or deed is right or wrong: 2+2=4, not 5; murder and rape are evil and wrong. These are objective facts, not opinions.
When judgment is spoken about in the context of eternity, as in God's judgment, we concede that only God reserves the right and power to determine a person's eternal existence. Therefore, we do not judge someone as evil and condemn them ourselves, but we are still able to judge a particular action or lack of action.

Opinion is formed from not just external factors, but internal ones as well. Your opinion of your neighbor may be bad because you don't like people with blond hair, or hated someone else once with the same name.
Judgement (if it's good) is to judge without your own opinion getting in the way.
Hope that helps.

Easy, judgement brings condemnation upon a person and the action he/she made. An opinion, brings forth another point of view. Here is an example-- In the Bible the pharisees brought an adulteres to Jesus and said to Him that she was caught in adultery and that the law of Moses says she must be punished by stoning. They brought judgement upon her and where ready to execute her. But if they would have brought her to Jesus and given their opinion on her way of life, it would've been received as another point of view and helped her try to see that she was leading an adulterous life. And of course not try to execute her. That is the big difrence. Hey God bless, may the ancient of days bless your life .

When people complain about Christians judging, do what I do. I tell them what the bible says. It says don't you know we will judge angels. How much more should we be able to judge the things of this world. And if anyone doesn't believe that then they are calling God a liar. Jesus said to wipe off the dust from your feet wherever they don't recieve you or listen to you, which means don't worry about it if they don't listen to you.

The difference between Judgement and opinion are the two big H words.
If someone says you are nuts, that's an opinion.
If someone says you are going to Hell, that's a Judgement.
If someone says, you are not going to Heaven, that is Church Egotistical Judgement.

Giving your opinions will lead to someone who does not agree with your opinion to judge you.
They may not be the same, but they're definitely connected.

I really don't mind opinions. I can even take judgment. What I cannot take is some christians dishing out judgment and hiding behind bible quotes, as if they are not the person dishing it out, but their god.
