Why has the only observable (not even testable) prediction of intelligent design never been observed. In other words, why hasn't irreducible complexity been demonstrated?

Chef Bob, you are forgetting your ID talking points. Intelligent Design isn't supposed to be linked to the bible. It is supposed to be a scientific theory.

This aspect of the objection does not work. Intelligent Design beliefs may be consistent with the Bible, but they are not based on the Bible.

Intelligent Design is a conclusion based on empirically detectable evidence, not sacred texts. Man called Michael Behe observes " Life on earth at its most fundamental level, in its most critical components, is the product of intelligent activity. The conclusion of Intelligent Design flows naturally from the data itself - not from sacred books or sectarian beliefs. "

Intelligent Design is not "creation science". Intelligen Design scientists do not make claims that so-called "creation scientists" make. They do not say that the data unambiguously supports the six-twentyfour-hour-day view of Genesis, or a world wide flood.

Instead, they acknowledge that the data for ID is not based on a specific age or geologic history of the earth. ID scientists study the same objects in nature than the Darwinists study - life and the universe itself -but they come to more reasonable conclusions about the cause on the topic, Darwinism is rejected because it does not fit the scientific data, and ID is accepted because it does. ID is science because design is empirically detectable. : )
