I was raised Mormon, and I must say.....

ROFLMFAO @ w00t!

I left Mormonism when I was 17 (had been in since I was 3). When I left, I learned far more about Mormonism than I ever learned when I was in it. I actually went to libraries and looked stuff up. Turns out, Joseph Smith was a con man who set up a bank in Nauvoo but used the deposits as his own personal piggy-bank. When he would show potential investors his gold backing, it was a chest of rocks with a layer of coins on top of them. That's why he was shot--people learned what a crook he really was.

Joseph Smith would also treasure hunt for people. For a fee, he would look in his hat where he kept two seer stones to see if he could find buried treasure on your property. He used those same stones, the Urim and Thumim, to "translate" the Book of Mormon. Joseph Smith also told his congregation that people dressed like Quakers lived on the Moon, and that he received holy insight from aliens who lived on a planet called Kolob.

I am not making this stuff up.

I was one of the moderators in an exmormon chat room some years ago. I helped people who had recently left Mormonism in search of something that wasn't made up. I can tell you, Mormonism does much more harm and damage than good and healing. Mormonism is a very cultish, oppressive, psychologically damaging organization.

And that's no myth.

The strangest thing that I ever heard about the Mormons was their belief that after death, all of the Christain saved, Mormon or otherwise, will go to heaven, but that unless you confess faith in the Mormon beliefs and faith at that time, you will not enter the highest heaven. You will be assigned or relegated off to a lesser level. It's still heaven, but not as terrific as the one the Mormons get. Or something like that, as told to me by a non-Mormon in Utah.

I have heard that the Mormons believe that Jesus and Satan are brothers.

I also heard that the Mormons believe that you can baptize someone after they die

I have also heard that the Mormons baptized Hitler and all the Jews that died in the Holocaust.

I also heard that the Mormons believe that Brigham Young was a prophet, yeah right.

I know they have baptized Popes (in absentia because they had died) and even once the Name Mickey Mouse was put forth for baptism at their Temple. They also believe that people can become a god of their own planet just like Jesus was good and he got to be God of this planet. (Jesus and Satan are brothers warring over this planet). I heard that women can not go to the same Heaven Planet that men go to unless of course they are married to the woman. Where the other women go, who knows? They certainly do not believe that Jesus is God himself, in fact they do not believe that God is God himself. He had a start somewhere.

Check out yourself first. I'm sure you believe in things that aren't true. Do you worship a 3-headed god? Do you believe in a loving god who torments people forever in a burning hell? Do you believe that all good people go to heaven? Do you believe in the immortality in the human soul, although the Bible says the soul can die? Ez. 18:20

So why don't you laugh at yourself first before you laugh at others?

Native Americans are actually part of the original 12 tribes of Israel...but God was pissed at one group of them so he turned them brown..then the brown ones killed the remaining white ones and they lost all knowledge of God... (as if the tribes of Israel were white).

Then Ahhhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhh aaaHHHHHH....Joseph Smith found the GOLD tablets and the thingy to read them with...then the tablets and thingy dissapeared. OOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAA.

Read "Under The Banner Of Heaven".

No myths. I watched a video about them and I know they are a cult. How about the spirit babies.
