but it's obvious sunday worship was held pre-nicea from the first times of the apostles ... in the writings of the early church fathers who are praised by all christian theologians as authentically correct to the doctrine of the early christians it says:

On the Lord's own day, assemble in common to break bread and offer thanks, but first confess your sins so that your sacrifice may be pure." Didache, 14 (A.D. 90).

"If, therefore, those who were brought up in the ancient order of things have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord's Day, on which also our life has sprung up again by Him and by His death--whom some deny, by which mystery we have obtained faith, and therefore endure, that we may be found the disciples of Jesus Christ, our only Master." Ignatius, To the Magnesians, 9:1 (A.D. 110).

To be forever separated from God...and separated from his evil whims of eternal torture and sadistic tests and required worship...sounds like a good deal to me!

I don't keep friends on Earth who are like that. Of course, I don't know anyone that requires burnt offerings, or who drowns their children and wants to torture them for eternity, but you know what I mean...

And any offensive or attacking comment Shall be Reported.

A Lord owned a large beautifull land, which had many people living on it whom He loved. One day, the Lord decides to take a journey away from his land. He leaves no body in charge , because every body on the land are his children, both daughters and sons. As time goes by, some of the people begin to lose faith and fear, so much in fact, that they begin to believe that if they do not do certain things, they will be punished when there Father, the Lord, returns.

They give themselves the title of Leader, and begin to preach to others in the land, there belief s, and warn everyone that if they do not do as the Leader says , then there Father, the Lord, shall punish them when He returns.

Some begin to follow the Leader, and others decide not to, for they know How much there Father, the Lord truely loves them.

Yet the Leader and his followers, decide to banish those whom do not follow him, and throw others out of the land.

One day, the Lord of the land, there Father, finally Returns. And when He does, He notices that many of his children were not there.

Asking around , He finds out what happened, and therefore, brings forth to Him, the leader and all the leaders followers.

And the Lord, there Father, asks them ," You sent forth some of my children from there Home here in my land . Why did you do this?"

The leader and his followers answered," We did this for You, showing our love to you we did so in your name too , to cleanse your land my lord father."

With this, the Lord, Father got Very angery, " You did NOTHING for ME ! You have sent forth MY CHILDREN into Darkness and what s worse is You did so In my NAME !! For this YOU shall recieve the SAME punishment you gave those you judged."

And with that said, He banished the leader and all his followers , and threw them out of his land into darkness

Can you prove to me that the word of God has not came to pass and that these are not the end days. If you are anti-christian, pls don't respond. There is a difference in true athiesm and pure hatred and it's manifested by words and actions.

I am talking facts here too people. No asumption. No quotations from known anti-christian organizations or authors please.
Stick to Facts
Like this:
It is a well known fact and globally excepted by scientists worldwide that a great flooding did take place. They have found scientific evidence that conclude this fact.

Another fact:
The bible states that the world will get worse and worse and boy is it ever getting worse.

The bible said that Israel would never be defeated again.

As many people would love to see this happen.
She stands strong today.

Never in the history of mankind has a nation been dispersed of and reformed: That is a fact and was predicted in the bible.

As i said please stick to facts only.
I do not hate anyone.

Unlike many Islamic critics, I have read the Qur'an and much of the Hadith. I'm aware of the numerous peaceful and tolerant verses in them, such as “There shall be no compulsion in religion.” (Sura 2:256). However, I am also well acquainted with the many, many violent versus (e.g. “Slay the unbelievers wherever ye shall find them” (Sura 9:5), “Any person who has changed his religion, kill him” (Bukhari, vol. 9, no. 57), “Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends” (Sura 5:51) and “A man will not be asked why he beat his wife.” (Abu Duwad, Book 11, No. 2142). Why do Muslims always explain away the violent versus, claiming they are “taken out of context/only for self-defense,” and attempt to refute them with peaceful verses that apparently should be taken at face value? Isn’t it the Qur’an and Hadith that are actually out of context with the modern world? Are all the “kills” allegorical? Is the history of Islamic nations more characterized by peace or violence?

"god can do what he wants.

he did it because of all the sin on the earth.

example: if you are working on a project and the whole thing gets messed up. then wouldn't you throw it away and start all over?"

Someone wrote this as an answer. Besides the UNcapitalized "god", is this what Christians are supposed to believe? Would any of you "throw away" your children?

The Gospel of Thomas actually predates the writings of Paul.

The Nag Hammadi discoveries have shed light on the true teachings of Jesus. Included in these discoveries are several gospels of Jesus's life that never made it into the modern Christian Bible as well as a treasury of lost, esoteric wisdom that portrays a side of Christianity suppressed by the institutionalized church.

From the book: Gnostic Discoveries
The Impact Of The Nag Hammadi Library

BY MARVIN MEYER

I just finished reading that book yesterday. I am even more convinced now that the bible is pure fictionalized evil.
