So why is it that Atheists become so upset for the Christian's concern for the morally homeless?

This argument is assuming that evolution is a fact.
Let me Explain. When I was a child I played baseball (unorganized), I knew the game well as it is fairly simple to learn. Later in life when my son began to play the game I was asked to be an assistant coach. I was a little rusty on the rules so I purchased the Official MLB rule book. Wow, was I surprised to see that what I thought were a few simple rules were actually pages and pages of complicated regulations, exceptions, descriptions of plays, etc. The infield fly rule is far more intricate than I had ever dreamed. I spent weeks studying the book and I finally had a good grasp of the game, but often I had to refer back to the book. I reached a point that I could answer almost any question and describe each situation and rule. Then I began to coach the players. Now, knowing the rules was becoming less essential, because the game is actually 9 positions working in unison and each can take years to master with much dedication.

My boyfriend is a very hardworking man, loyal and all the good thing a woman would ever ask for a man.
He is also a dedicated Apostolic Christian. He goes to church every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
(Church Service, Sunday School etc.) Also, he wakes up at 3am every single day just to pray, read the bible and
bible study online before going to work. It drives me crazy and I am getting worried, He was one time upset
because he missed church for a day or two because they had to work late in the office. He said he would
considerlooking for another job if that happens again. He also brings his very huge and thick Bible wherever
he goes and reads it whenever possible (lunch break etc). He have read the Bible back to back a million times
over and over again and he said he would still do over and over again. (note he also reads Bible Study online)
He also mentioned that he prays for me everyday that I would go to heaven and blah bla

It showed how religions have had to trick people into believing their faith with cheesy parlor tricks like the Staue of the Virgin crying blood, and The Christian churches doors that open up by themselves. Were people REALLY that stupid back then?

A boy I'm crushing on is Mormon. Big problem.....I'm not! If we were to ever get together, it would be a big problem, right? I'm not babtized into any religion, but he's a serious mormon. He's even going on a mission after HS. I would still LOVE to be with him, but I don't think he'd feel the same way. Do mormons Have to marry religious girls? I would never change for a guy, but I would like some advice! Thanks so much!

Why is it that people read a book about "God" to answer all their spiritual questions but do not use their own heads to think for themselves? If "God" gave them brains then why don't they use them!...sorry to anyone this offends but I am so sick of people only thinking about the words they read and not anything else.

We all have similar lives with variations in the order of events. Some experience things that others will not. For example I may never experience starvation or fear of genocide but I will experience hunger and fear of death.

For example: Judas was sent to hell for betraying Jesus. But wasn't that Judas' purpose? How could Jesus have been crucified to "save all our souls" if Judas did not do this? If god is so just and loving how could he condemn this man for doing what he was "created" for?

didnt write this to scare anyone or to force anyone to do anything, but the truth hurts, and I hope you all make the right descicions.

On October 9, it has come to my attention that Hip Hop and R&B, the music that we enjoy so much, is so evil that it has blinded us from actually seeing the truth!! YES!! THE MUSIC THAT WE ENJOY IS EVIL!! NO!!
ITS NOT ONLY ROCK MUSIC, BUT HIP HOP AND R&B!! Hip hop has so many subliminal messages in it and it is scary
because the messages are so obvious, but we are only figuring it out now because we just understood the
truth and when I first heard this, tears flowed out my eyes cause it is the horrifying truth.

Singers like Alicia keys, Jay z, deAngelo, india irie, snoop dog, erikah badu.........................etc . just read this u would see what am talkin about

You don't believe me? Just listen to the CD The Gray Album! Track 11, the interlude to Lucifer, Jay-Z or
should I say Jay-Hova (Jehoviah) says some pretty disturbing thing

I am a christian. I attend church. I know that our Father in Heaven says," Remember the sabbath , to keep it holy." I have to work every other sunday. I don't believe it is right to work on sunday but there are some things that need to be done on sunday, as well as every other day. I work in a retirement home, the elderly have to be taken care of every day. What are your thoughts on this as a christian person?

1 Thessalonians 5

16Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Christian fellow believers, do these verses mean that Christians are literally to pray continually and literally be joyful always, or is it figurative, meaning whenever possible? I interpret these verses to mean keep a cheerful disposition and positive attitude, and devote all you do to God, not to literally pray continually, because deeds are indeed a form of prayer if devoted to God. Can someone with more Bible knowledge than me confirm if my guess is correct? (Better still, can someone with knowledge of ancient Greek and access to the ancient Greek texts explain the meaning in an etymological context?)

Thanks, and may God's peace be upon you.

The unexamined life is not worth living.

Do you look in the mirror and ask who am I?

I don't wear a santa hat and fake white beard in real life,
but I sit here in my cube and theres a photo of my son on the lap of santa, taken in November,

when I go home I am love to my son, he doesn't see a man in a red hat and white beard, a man in a chicago bears hat and a brown goatee, and he loves me.

I identify myself as father, husband, son, etc.

Many of you the same, mother, wife, husband, father, son daughter, cousin uncle aunt,

We come here and argue about the Bible and God and Evolution and this and that and the other thing,

Do you think we probably have more in common with one another then what appears to be a daily yahoo answers session of "If man came from blah blah blah".

Evidently some think it's talking about things happening in your life. Talking helps you find an answer instead of holding it in. I think gossip is spreading rumors of something you have no idea or clue if it's true. What do you think? I feel those who are judgemental jump to conclusions as to what is gossip and what isn't.
