What do you see when your third eye is open?

i can see colors when i close my eye and meditate they are Red,yellow,green,purple i want to know can you see stuffs other than colors?

When I meditate (in the state between awake and asleep) I actually have a waking dream, where I have control of my actions, and have all five senses intact. I can stop to smell a rose, or feel a sunwarmed stone. I generally start my meditation in a predetermined place (in a field, by the ocean, in a clearing surrounded by woods) that I choose. Once I am aware of these new surroundings (touch the grass, take a step), I let control go and the dream takes me where I need to go to learn what I need to learn. I've done everything from touching a dragon to flying with an eagle to swimming in the ocean as a mermaid. I can talk to the Godhead, consult with my Spirit Guides, and have questions answered that can't be explained in any other way. It's not always nicey-nicey, though. I've seen the face of death (quite literally) and some other dark and disturbing things that I'd rather not get specific about. It is beyond words as to how awesome it feels. I know it's not a typical dream because when I reach a certain point (that I have no control over) I instantly open my eyes and am wide awake.

Honestly, I don't know of very many people that have this gift. You have to start by finding the source of your inner voice, and that will lead you to your inner being, which is actually what I walk through as a vision. Everything I see is in my psyche/soul. And, most importantly, you must ask whatever Higher Power you believe in to grant you this gift. Otherwise, it will not work. This is not humanly inspired. It is purely spiritual.

I never see colors. I see concepts. When my 3rd eye is open I usually see myself. I see my flaws and ways I can better myself. I also see the obstacles that are blocking me from having the life I want.

Also, my 3rd eye sees the root of an issue. For example, if I am having a problem with a friend my 3rd eye can look at this objectively so I can truely see who is at fault.

The most important to me is that my 3rd eye can see the "big picture". It allows me to see the truth about the world. I don't always get to see this however. It's funny because I can't make myself reach this point. It just comes on its own, if that makes sense.

I don't see colours, I see images, some I can identify as things I'd really like to happen others I don't know, but I've been told they could be predictions or maybe bits of past lives, I think they are most likely past lives because I feel like they already happened and had consequences in what happens now. This happens naturally and I never made any effort or any therapy to open my third eye.

Many people explain this situation when there are in meditation condition.The sufi said that the colour was the symbol of your ego

Everyone sees something different because psychic perception is different for all. Some see auras, other see fairie creatures, some can see sprits. Others simply have overwhelming De Ja Vous. For me, i've seen plenty of ghosts now, and I can also read people easier.
