have you ever felt the presence of God when you pray, I mean the calm, peaceful, warmth of His presence, the ultimate love and compassion, and a full heart? I have felt this closeness with Him only 3 times but I will never forget it.

I mean bad in actions, abuse, and just a not so good person kicks the bucket. Why do the children go up and say good beautiful things about their dead parent, and the priest says good things too? Even if the guy was a complete loser. Is it because they are in denial, dont' want to say nothing bad or what?

Have you ever been to a funeral where a family member said bad things about their parent at the pulpit?

I mean, like, God is SOOOOOO big that we are just a speck floating in the empty space of his being - the space between his cells?

Or maybe God is microscopic and that's why we can't see him? He could be in a whole other universe that exists on the tip of my nose right now!

I've long been an agnostic but I do hold out hope in a higher power and pray regularly despite my lack of faith.

I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks about this one road block I am constantly faced with. The major argument believers of God use is ... How could we exist if there were no God? Something had to create us.

Well, I ask you this -- WHO created God? By answering the question of God this way you only bring up another outstanding question. If we couldn't get here by ourselves, how could God?

People in this column always say that man go to war (like British colonism) in the name of God, or the christians (e.g. me) are not good enough so they attack christianity. But these are just dust on a diamond. The diamond of christianity is that Jesus Christ, the son of God, sacrificied on the Cross, to release us from sin. My friend, turn to Jesus. I, and christianity, are always against gay. What do you think? My friend
