No, you should lead whatever kind of life you want. If it's acceptable to you and you can sleep at night, that's all that matters.

First of all, you have to think about the world's beauty and organization, could really all this been made by itself?
secondly, if there is a God and you still think so what? Then not believing him at all would be worse. Then how could you say you lived an overall good life? what is good? If there was no God, there would be no reason for you to not come and kill me if you didn't like my answer! why would you not do something like that? all in all, thinking too much about the universe and everything can make a man go mad, cuz our minds are limited, but pick the one that is better, having something to live and act good for? or just thinking there is nothing else therefore anyone is allowed to do anything...

Hey, look, I don't believe in God because of fear. What in the world would i have to fear? He's not coming in wrath against His own people - He's not mad at his children. I look forward to being with Him, because all the crap will be gone, and we won't have to continue in this nonsense anymore.
About your frog statement - I realize that many do things or believe a certain thing because thats what the others do; but,
I don't follow a church system; I haven't been in a church for over 30 years. I study in the manuscripts. The mass majority of Christians - I'm saying good, well-meaning christian people - will be deceived because they don't know what Gods Word is telling them, they listen to some pastor who says you're gonna get raptured outta here. Well, I could believe that if I just wanted to follow the rest of the people, but I don't believe that, because the manuscripts say it will not happen. There is no gathering back to Christ until Antichrist sits in Jerusalem pretending to be Christ.
So, no, I do not follow the crowd, whether it be for frogs or for God.

I dont get it either.
I do believe in a supreme being but think I do so because that is what I was 'taught' to think.
Agnostics and Atheists get such a bum rap in this 'Christian society', but it is the so called Christains that make me NOT want to believe.....
To answer your question, I think that if the masses were told to believe in 'holy frogs' (or holy turnips for that matter) within two or three generations, RIBET would be the order of the day. Plastic surgeons would perfect a new surgery to bludge everyone's eyes and revlon would come up with a new green skin paint etc.
If you think I am lying just look at the effect that stupid azz tom cruise had (has) on scientology... or better than that look at the guys that drunk that koolaid because JIM JONES told them too, David Keresh (sp) ~ (the guy from waco) or the idiots who were apparently smart well off people who killed themselves a few years ago so that they could ride on the tail of a space comet.
I think religion gives quite a few people hope.
so I am not for doing away with it but it sure can be annoying when those that are the holy rollers say what ever the phuck they want to in the name of JESUS (ie, you are going to hell if you dont believe what they think you should believe, if you are gay or whatever else).
Doesn't GOD get a bit pissed over the 'holy wars' and other conflicts that are fought in HIS NAME?
I havent figured it all out but good luck trying to ask a so called Xtian to help ya
most of the time the reply is
'oh you have to just believe! '

You cannot believe in God if God didn't call you to this belief? There are more make believers in the world than believers.
These are the people that were called a long time ago but fell away for whatever reason. They are also noted by only being able to speak about the Good Lord of days gone by and not today because today our God has no power like he did in Jesus Christ days to heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, if you drink poison it will not harm you and all that supposed hocus pocus they did in Jesus Christ days, speaking to demons and such.
It is perfectly OK for you to do this and on judgment day you would be better off than all the make believers claiming Jesus but not know him.

I have been asking myself this same question. First off- every one of us start at ground zero when we are born. We know nothing- and have no concept of God or satan, good or bad. We are raised to either worship or not. We have no recollection of ever choosing to be born, or choosing the family/religion we are born into. Think about this... if God gave us the choice to be born into a body where we had to determine which entity was the correct one to worship- and if we guessed wrong we would burn in hell for eternity, do you think any one of us would have chosen to have even been born?? HELL NO! There is no one correct God to worship. While I believe there is only one God that created us... there is at least a little piece of Him in every god that is worshipped (Buddah, Allah, Christ, etc...) I don't believe in a hell because I don't believe God would have placed any one of us in a situation that could end up with us burning in fire for eternity. Second of all- if there is a hell- we will all end up there because according to nearly all religious belief- if you are not a member of their church, you go to hell, PERIOD. So- I know it is difficult, but we all need to live our lives like it's a priviledge and a gift.

I love the Lord. He has done so much for me. A life without God? Oh! MY! no not for me. I have happiness I have love. I have faith! I can't imagine a life without Faith! Oh how bleak things would be.I have had many illnesses I am disabled in a power chair and without my Dear Lord I could be one miserable human being. But I am full of life and happiness.I have Jesus to help me face each and every day no matter how much physical pain my twisted body may be in. I have Christian friends that will stand firm in a united spirit that one day when we all get to Heaven we all will have perfect bodies. Healthy bodies.Pain free bodies. Are time of long suffering will end!If I can be a Christian when I've been disabled sense the age of 18 months, been gang rapped, beaten and on and on by atheists and I can still love all God people even atheists because you weren't one of those who did those awful things to me. I even love and forgive them because as Jesus said as he was dieing on the cross "Forgive them Father for they no not what what they do!"I don't want them or anyone to go to Hell! I want you to know the Joy and Peace that I know. Have a blessed Day!

This is a very important decision that you need to make for yourself.

You shouldn't let anyone else make the decision to believe in God or not.

Do some reading about both sides of the issue....do some common sense thinking....and give yourself time.

Also just because you decide to believe or not believe you can always change your mind....do what's right for you and that makes your life better.

It is not wrong to live a life without believing in god.

We have reasons to believe god is not there, hence no hell to be afraid of.

Living a good happy life is rewarding, but sufferings cannot be avoided at all times. Having a good mental capacity to accept tragedies is invaluable.

No, it's not wrong to live a life without believing in god. It doesn't make you "angry", it doesn't make you amoral, it doesn't make you anything other than a rational human being who is emotionally strong and mature enough to accept the realities of life the way they are.

There is nothing wrong with living your life without believing in god. As long as you believe in yourself, that's what matters.
