If you kill the fetus, it can't pay taxes and die for the glory of a politician.

"conflict can save lives" ????? That has have been given to be the main asinine element I definitely have considered written on Y!A and that's certainly a solid fact the main debate in the abortion debate is: "while does existence initiate?" The regulation interior the U.S. says that it starts while the fetus might desire to viably stay exterior on it is own. Abortion foes have self assurance it starts lots in the previous. the concern right this is while? Is a infant alive while the zygote attaches to the uterine wall? Or while the sperm and egg merge? If any fertilized egg is unquestionably a guy or woman, the what's an unfertilized egg? The questions only save getting deeper, and harder. i in my opinion think of that the main reason it won't exchange is that folk have not got genuine solutions to the above questions. And if all the anti-abortion zealots have been polled, they could not arise with any variety of sparkling consensus approximately while existence rather starts.

I am a pro-life activist who is against abortion without exception. I go to the places where abortion is being committed and offer information and help to women arriving for their abortion appointments. I am 100% against the war in Iraq, as are the vast majority of pro-lifers standing with me outside the "clinics." I didn't vote for Bush and I encouraged others not to vote for him. There are many pro-lifers against the war, particularly the ones who are actually DOING something to stop abortion. Take a look, for example, at the articles on this page:

There is a difference between murder, and killing. Murder is when you bash a partially born baby in the head and vacuum it's brains out and throw the lifeless body into a trash can.

Killing is when you see a great wrong being done like slavery,
the extermination of the Jews, and the bombing of the world trade center and vow to do all that you must to stop what is going on.

One is evil and one is meant to stop evil.

Killing is never good, but if I am ever faced with the choice of seeing a small child die, or a rapist who is attacking the child die I will without hesitation kill the rapist. I could not live with myself if I allowed a rapist to murder a child.

Saddam killed a MILLION people before we came to Iraq this second time.

A serin gas bomb (WMD) exploded in Iraq in 2004
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4997808

500 more WMD's were found in 2006

They may have degraded some, but these weapons go to prove Saddam had weapons he had refused to reveal to UN inspectors.
If he had that many he probably had more that were better hidden. We had every reason to believe he was a major threat.

Unfortunately the President believed what he had been told, and he thought that only a handful of Muslims were bad people, perhaps if he had read more history books about the Middle east he would have been better prepared for the magnitude of people who were willing to cut the heads off of innocent civilians.

I do not know. I also think that is very inconsistent. I do not believe you can support aggressive wars or the death penalty and still honestly consider yourself pro-life. The official doctrine of the church I attend opposes wars of aggression, the death penalty and abortion. I am sure we are not the only people who think like this. I oppose the murder of innocent children no matter who does it.

The supports of both will give you a lame reason that war is killing and abortion is murder. They want to call an early term abortion (a clump of a few hundred cells they wish to call a human) as murder. They'll nit-pick, so will I. The bible says thou shall not kill. It doesn't distinguish so if they claim abortion is wrong as per their bible then thy have to also be opposed to any type of killing. If they do not then they are hypocrites of the worse kind.

Sigh. Apples and oranges.

If we don't provide for a strong defense, others will come and wipe out what has been built, and impose their will on us. When we bailed out in Somalia, Osama & Company learned quickly that dead American soldiers will cause the US to flee. They honestly thought we didn't have the intestinal fortitude to do much, other than launch a couple of cruise missiles at a cave. When we aren't prepared to go to war, the enemies of the nation are emboldened.

Abortion kills a life that is just starting. That life is completely dependent upon another for its existence. It used to be that liberals were the "voice of the oppressed." Who is more oppressed than an innocent life, completely dependent, that is taken for convenience's sake?

Abortion - the murdering of an INNOCENT and non-defendable human life.

Iraq War - the defense of a nation (of you!) against a people who attempted and have in many cases successfully killed 1,000's of innocent people because they hate you.

We only kill the terrorists so that we might someday have safety and peace in the world. You think that if we did nothing that nothing would happen to us here in the USA? Crazy. Terrorists truly believe the more they kill of people like you, the more holy they are! Be thankful that there are men & women with real guts and national pride out there protecting you while you tear them down here at home all safe. Nice.

The Bible says that murder is wrong (sinful), not killing per se.
Killing an unborn baby is murder. Not all killing is murder, so it is possible to justify self defence, death penalty and so on.

Dalpack above on teh other hand is inconsistent - happy to kill an innocent baby but not a guilty murderer.
