How is it we are so sure about our beliefs? How do we know that these people are who they say they are? If someone wrote a book about you do think they could cover your whole life and put everything about you in one book. I am talking about every belief system known to man. Why would they tell us everything...then we would hold the cards and not them.

Matthew 7: 6 "6Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces."
In Matthew 7:6 we are cautioned not to give dogs that which is holy nor to cast our pearls before swine. Dogs and pigs were ceremonially unclean animals in Jewish law. These are metaphors for preaching the word of God to those unwilling to listen. We can not argue a person into salvation, man is saved through faith in God by the grace of God. So when we preach to those unwilling to listen or try to force our faith upon another we are in error. When Jesus was preaching in his home land his neighbors did not treat him with honor and Jesus withheld those miracles (Matthew 13:58) that might have softened their hearts. Preaching to those who God has not given grace is a fruitless effort but since we do not know who God has elected we must offer the word of God to all and give it to those who desire it.

How would you feel if they worship you only because they think you will torture them if they don't?

What type of god would you be if this why you have worshipers?

What if I just want to decompose like every other living creature on Earth (which is what Christians apparently are not satisfied with)? What if my current life is like "heaven" itself?

Is it wrong to believe in the Circle of Life?

do we find a solace in these perfect unflawed beings because we are unable to accept our flawed nature...and cannot have total trust in anything flawed including the people around us every day...does it push us from our own nature, making us seek this impossible perfection...???.......personally i am not a Christian...but i do not deny anyone else their belief and faith...life afterall is how we all choose and do perceive it...oh...and id rather do flawed any day than flawless...to me the perfection is in our flaws...;0)

If an Hebrew name was given, it would seem that changing Messiah's Name to "another name" by subsequent translations would bring into affect the admonitions re Revelations 22:l8 and l9.

Science gives us answers to how the universe operates, but it doesn't answer the question of how the universse and matter originated. In fact natural laws contradict the idea of the universe and life creating itself. Natural law says;
1. there has to be a beginning to everything.
2. something cannot come from nothing.

How then can science ever explain the beginning without contradicting everything it stands for?

And why does science, or even evolution, have to contradict the idea of God? To say science disproves God is a ridiculous statement. God cannot be proved or disproved by way of science, so therefore no one can deny the possibility of his existence.

With all that said, science provides proof of what...reallity? Well what is the reality of reality? Science can't prove we're not just some computer program controlled by creatures from the "real world" (like the matrix).

EVERYTHING is based on faith, and NOTHING can be fully proven.

There is a rule in the Catholic church that a religious can only transfer to a different religious order if he or she is going to a MORE strict order than his/her previous one. Can anyone give me a list of these religious orders -- from the most strict to the lesser ones? Thank you!

I've already had the explanation of "free will" and "we weren't made like robots"....it still doesn't make any sense to me! Why can't God "get rid of" Satan because God essentially created Satan? How can I believe anything that has to do with Christianity when I don't have any physical proof?!
Why is that Christians say we are all born sinners, including innocent little, precious babies?!
Why are children suffering everyday from malnutrition, abuse and neglect? They're not even old enough to know about Jesus if their parents or someone hasn't explained the concept to them....why let them suffer?!!

The following passage describes the sickening practice of sex slavery. How can anyone think it is moral to sell your own daughter as a sex slave?

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)
