From what I see and read about Muslims, the answer seems to be yes. What should the peaceful, kind, loving and non-violent people on earth do considering the resurgance of Satan's rath via Islam?

1st, say the Christians, you must decide Christianity is true out of thousands of other religions. Then, you must pick the correct BRANCH of Christianity or you still fry! THEN, you have to be sure the church you picked doesn't "add" anything to the Bible, so if they've got organ music, you're still screwed. Next, you've gotta be sure you never forget to get forgiveness for ANY of your sins right away, or you might get hit by a truck and go to Hell 'cause you forgot to get that ONE little sin off your record... One "Damn" at the wrong time, and a lifetime of prayer and penitince goes down the drain! - Did I miss anything?

I've noticed that on Yahoo! answers, alot of you post very angry and/or antagonistic comments in the form of questions, to Christians. Why are all so quick to be hostile and defensive when you have no reason to? You ask a lot of questions that just hastily harp on our beliefs, or you ask about us indirectly..."The Bible is the biggest lie ever sold. Why don't Christians realize that?"...c'mon guys, was that really necessary?? Basically, I just want to know why all the fuss?

The earth is firm. it is unmovalable. does that mean we are not moving threw space extreml;y fast? no.
I am firm, unmoavable. yet iwalk, run. I am unmovable in that i will not change from hearing the 'Bible as the word of God. do you see how there can be a different context from what is perceived immediatly?

1 chronicles 16:30 The earth is stable in that it is under Gods reign, not that it is stable in that it will not move physically.

Psalm 93:1 same as before. IT is unmovale in that God ever is in control of it.

Psalm 96:10 same as before...

Psalme 104:5 the foundations of the earht wont be destroyed... not thatthey wont move in space...

Isaiah 45:18 I dont see anything saying the earth wont move... it says God made the earth.. but it dosnt say it wont move..

This wasnt very hard... pls read the scripture verses before posting comments on them

Do you believe that a child who dies goes to heaven? If so, then isn't the child better off not living because it is assurred to go to heaven versus if it lives and later sins, it may lose that chance?

I would like to implement a note or ticket to put on the cars in the Church parking lot to let car owners know they have a low tire, or their state inspection sticker is expired, or that valuables were left on the seat where someone could break in and take them. Because of our neighborhood, our church ushers walk out the parking lot during the service to discourage any wrong doing . Does anybody out there do this at their church?? If you do I could use an example.
Thank you in advance.

I am a believer in Jesus, and I struggle with a paradox. If you believe that the only way to heaven is to accept Jesus as your lord and savior and that you have to do this before you die in order to go to heaven.....then what happened to all the people that lived and died before Jesus was born? Did they go to heaven or hell, and on what merit were they judged?

Giraffes are so tall that when they bend down to drink, a special valve has to stop blood from rushing to there brain and destroying it. If evolution is true and/or works the commonly accepted way, than the first giraffe to get talller would end up exploding, thus not passing on its genes. Explain that, Darwin!

Sorry, I loved this question so much I just have to repeat it again :) Whoever wrote it was a genius!

It is generally agreed that the Bible describes an immovable earth. At the 1984 National Bible-Science Conference in Cleveland, geocentrist James N. Hanson said there are hundreds of scriptures that suggest the earth is immovable. I suspect some must be a bit vague, but here are a few obvious texts:

1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”

Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”

Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”

If the Bible is God's word, and God's word is truth, why is our planet moving in orbit at 18.5 miles/sec, instead of standing still like the Bible says?
