Well, I don't think I can really explain it in words so these links will show you how to wear hijabs in different ways.

seem at females's rights in Muslim theocracies or the place Islam has a sturdy impression on the governments. Biblical Christianity is little greater valuable, that's only that maximum societies the place there's a majority Christians have become secular and the two arise with the money for women equivalent rights and protections, or are on a thank you to that place. Edit: As for the two posters above me - arranged marriages and honour killings was the norm in Christian societies. that's no longer a Christian/Islam distinction, yet a theocratic/secular distinction. Civil rights, females's rights, etc. have bigger with secularism, no longer with Christianity.

I'm not muslim, I am a christian hispanic, yet always loved to have a good excuse to cover up a bad hair day; especially on humid days, and love the way they look!!! but there is no worse sign of enslavement other than what we alone bare in our hearts... I understand many women have gone thru many difficulties, not only muslims but in many religions cultures and races, In a specific denomination of my church we are forced to cover our heads as well, I just changed church, but I have that freedom that many women and men already fought that war for us, I hope some day muslim women and all women won't have to go thru that ever again. my love to all.

My dear, to me the head covering thing is a sign of enslavement. I lived that life and now I am free of it. Do not allow yourself to become pigeon holed into someone else's idea of "your place" and "where you belong." Don't wear the sign of slavery.
