Is it just anger issues or are the people who hang out just to ask and answer offensively showing some aspects of a deeper psychological illness?

I have no interest in converting anyone. Your souls are your own. I'm just curious about all the hatred and anger and wondering if there is something society can do to make those that are so full of hatred less so.

There is obviously so much anger all directed at religion (particularly Christianity) and yet all these angry people CHOOSE to answer and ask questions in the religion category day in and day out. If something angered me that much, I'd stay away from it. It really does pose a question of mental illness to me. It makes no sense to do that to one's self.

They are angry at God, not the religious. Somewhere along the line they have been hurt. It is an aspect of a deeper psychological problem.

You can not get "rid" of anger. you need to learn to let it out in a healthy yet useful way. Find something that can relief you, like sports or music or reading. you need to work hard and it doesn't come easily. The first step for you is to learn how to MANAGE this anger ( ex: anger management classes...) then you need to start thinking about ways to help you avoid this anger.

Well, let's see: Crusades, Inquisition, nine centuries of sectarian warfare, Northern Ireland, Yugoslavia, Holocaust, 9/11.....
Maybe our "anger issues" stem from the senseless slaughter perpetrated in the name of religion. Maybe our "anger issues" are the result of American Christianity's unceasing efforts to overthrow our system of government and create a Christian version of Iran. Maybe our "anger issues" are the result of being told by various right-wing morons (George Bush Sr., Laura Ingraham, et al) that we are "unpatriotic" because we're not Christian. Maybe our "anger issues" stem from having your gods shoved in our faces day after f*****g day, from the slogan on the money to the Pledge of Allegiance.
Do I have "psychological problems?" My friends say no, and I don't think so, either. Am I sick to death of the unrelenting bigotry and narrow-mindedness of religion? You bet I am.

"Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you that those who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" Galatians 5:19-21

LOL I love the irony of this question. At least y'all are finding more creative ways to ask the same tired old "why are different people here to talk about the grievances with other people?".
You are doing the same thing you believe the "other" is doing in their irritated remakes to "your kind".

I can tell you exactly why I have some anger torwards Christians. Your culture killed my culture for 1700 years. You persecuted us throughout history. We get treated well in the US for 100 years and we're expected to forget all about it. I love this country. I love this country because it protects me from you. I look at Pat Robertson and know how many of you are still evil, twisted, bigoted, judgemental, people. Is that enough of a reason to be angry?

You are right. Satan hates Jesus and is working overtime on the sinner to spread their hate.
