The baby should have a right to grow up and decides if it wants to be loyal to God. And even if that wasn't the case, it doesn't matter a whole lot. How will the child not grow up? Certainly no one will kill it if they are thinking of Heaven at the same time . . .

It depends on the age of accountability.
To be innocent in this day and age it would probably be under the age of eight.
But I disagree with your concept of calling it a paradox because someone that young would not understand the big picture. It would be a no brainer to them to want to live. No paradox at all.

It doesn't really matter what I believe about that. I'm not arrogant to claim to know all the answers, neither am I arrogant enough to believe that I have the right to question God. I'll tell one thing for sure: if I didn't believe in God I certainly wouldn't spend any time on this site.

If you take that reasoning a little farther, what's the point of being born at all ? Why make anybody? Just skip birth and send us all to heaven in the first place.

A child is better off dying than being brainwashed into a religion without having a chance to explore this wonderful planet with an open mind.

If Christianity were REALLY true, then the best thing we could do for people is kill them as soon as possible, before they reached the age of accountability and sinned!!! Of course, no Christian can give a logical reason why this would be a bad idea....
