1st, say the Christians, you must decide Christianity is true out of thousands of other religions. Then, you must pick the correct BRANCH of Christianity or you still fry! THEN, you have to be sure the church you picked doesn't "add" anything to the Bible, so if they've got organ music, you're still screwed. Next, you've gotta be sure you never forget to get forgiveness for ANY of your sins right away, or you might get hit by a truck and go to Hell 'cause you forgot to get that ONE little sin off your record... One "Damn" at the wrong time, and a lifetime of prayer and penitince goes down the drain! - Did I miss anything?

What you missed is the love of Jesus Christ. That doesn't depend on anything that you mentioned. All those things mean nothing. Simply have faith in God and pray to Him daily. Ask Him to forgive your sins he already knows what they are so not necessary to name them but it is necessary to be truly sorry. It's really very simple don't be around people who make it so complicated.

Oh someone has taught you wrong. Ok, you are saved by grace its that simple. Ephesians 2:8-9 says that by grace are you saved, for it is a gift of God, not of works, least any man should boast. All you have to do is accept Jesus as your Savior and ask Him to save you and forgive you, then you are saved. Going to church does not save you. Yes, its very important to pick the right church ,but as long as its a Bible based church that actually preaches the word of God, and the path to salvation you're there. God will forgive you if "you screw up", all you have to do is sincerely tell Him you're sorry and He no longer remembers your past, present sins. We have an awesome God. You sound so angry in your question, but salvation is so easy to accept and yes, its never a cake walk once you're saved, you will always be tempted to sin, its your flesh talking ,but its a choice that's worth making, God's retirement plan is out of this world.

Yes, the whole point! Let me see if I can help you out. Whenever you want to get into a belief, you must decide if it's something you want. There is only one correct branch of Christianity-the one that proclaims that Jesus is the son of the living God. The part about adding to the bible, if you have ever read and studied it-it tells you that no one can add or take away anything from it-God has thought of everything! When you accept Christ as your lord and savior, you have been forgiven of your sins. That means that you are no longer practicing a life of sin. We must die daily to sin and denounce it as part of our daily live. We can't forget to do that just as we can't forget to eat and drink. The one D**n thing wrong thing is all wrong. The most important thing is not to die a sinner-but you can rest assured that if you have accepted Christ, he won't renounce you to hell because you committed a sin, he does not condemn us as we condemn one another.

You missed the whole point actually. The reason God sent Jesus is so that we don't have to be perfect. All he asks is for us to love him, and to try to keep his commandments and we are saved. You have a very negative view because you do not understand.

You have touched on too many things for me to answer all of them, you have misquoted some of the important things from the bible and you are basing your entire argument on an opinion.

However, I will say that Christianity does not have rules just to have them...God created the rules to protect us and to keep us happy.

God is not out to get us, waiting on the edge of his seat for us to sin. He is hoping the best for us, and is extremely saddened when people go astray. If you talked to a pastor about this, got some credible information and listened with an open heart, I think you would feel differently.

lets simplify this for you= Salvation is not through a particular branch of Christianity, it does not matter which Christian church you go to that saves you. If your church is saying this flee quickly. JESUS IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE- NO MAN CAN ENTER HEAVEN IN ANY OTHER WAY. The music a church uses does not save you. Where in scripture does it say, that anything can save you except Christ? If you have accepted Christ as the payment for your sins, you are going to heaven, pure and simple- and if you committed a sin before you die, as a believer, no fear- you are still in heaven. JESUS SAVES!!!!!!!!!!!

ok what is wrong with organ music. if it is a form of worship then it is not wrong. yes it is hard to find the right church but if you love God read the Bible for yourself so that if a church is teaching something you know is wrong you can avoid it. i am sure i am on the right track with my faith and here is the site that helped. i am not saying every other way is wrong, but i am saying you will never know what you believe if you dont check out all available sources. good luck i hope this helps a little.

Well...
Yes,you've got to decide that Christianity is true.
But I doubt any denomination says that you have to pick their church or you're going to hell.I know that My Baptist church has never said that, and neither has any Presbyterian/Salvation Army/Anglican church that I know of.
You are not supposed to add anything to the Bible, but you are definitely allowed to have music in church.
As for the confession of sins, that's not how it works.I encourage you to find out what being a Christian actually is.

For your info, not all Christian "BRANCHES" are like that. The Roman catholic do not need you to go ask for forgivness for every one of you sins. All you have to do is go to reconciliation. Well, maybe that does show what you mean, but getting to heaven dosen't mean your soul has to be clean when you go. the people who wern't baptized or even knew of the catholic religion but followed a life like that of a catholic is still not deniesd in heaven. Plus, there will always be the Judgement Day.

You missed the fact that all you have to do is accept Jesus as your savior and you are always saved! It is called "Grace". Read your Bible, don't worry what the "church tells you". Read your bible and pray. Then when the truck hits you right after you pinch a hottie on the a$$. Your still forgiven. By Jesus, not the hottie's spouse or yours!

Yes, there are a lot of obstacles aren't there? Few things that are worthwhile are ever easy. Goodness, I had even more obstacles in my way that I wont go into right now. God is ready to get rid of all those and any other obstacles for you. He is waiting patiently for you..and loves you. Try God now, and if you dont like him, the Devil will always take you back.
