A thousand years is as a day to God, and a day is as a thousand. there is no time slot with God, only us. Actually we wouldn't be around to believe anything in that many years because we will already be with him. PS; Jesus is more than a prophet he is the Son of God. God bless

Jesus did not promise us he would come back in 1802, 1985 or 2007 or even anytime within any given century. He said, only the Father in Heaven knows. God is the one who gives him the go-ahead to return and God hasn't entrusted this information even to the angels.

So if Jesus fails to return in my lifetime, it doesn't negate his words, doesn't conflict with them at all. Jesus was, is a prophet, the Son of God and will return when the time is right - just as his birth came not on any set date, but at the right pivotal moment in history as God saw fit - so shall his return be.

Jesus further indicates that mankind will obliterate themselves - and THAT is why and approximately when he will return, to save mankind from annihilating themselves to extinction. We have this as an assurance - just no specific dates.

The way things are going - mankind will reach extinction in the next 100 years UNLESS there is a major turnaround with the nations and they get their act together. At this time we are under a greater nuclear threat than any time in history. Thats the facts, Jack.

Indeed we will not know the hour when Jesus MUST return, but we know the time is near by the global condition. It may be another hundred years - but the way it looks at present, its doubtful.

Yes Jesus is the prophet of God and he will return as is Gods command and promise. God does not go back on His promise. There is an appointed time for everyhting, which will occur, not one second sooner nor later.

Please name 1 person who has ever lived for 10,000years. For real, in the word it says that 1 days is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like a day. So the day of the Lord will come soon, but no one knows when. I am content to know that God has me in the palm of His hand. He will come when we least expect it. Blessings!

Absolutely....and in 10,000 years it won't matter. I'll be with Him by them. The only way I can live for another 10,000 years is to be with Him.

I will still believe in Jesus and I'll pass down the knowledge of him to my children, and my children's children.

yup, they'll keep waiting, and they'll keep saying the rapture will be soon.

When the sun finally goes red giant in a couple of billion years I'll bet there will be a christian shouting 'See!? See!?'. God that is a depressing thought.
