The same things we are fighting over today: Power, land, oil, freedom, ethnisity, etc. Religion just wouldn't be an excuse.

Religion is inevitable when you have no answers to simple questions like who am I? What is that? What is our purpose? How do things work? Our minds search for answers and come up with many no matter how true or false they are, thus, religion. However in the event of no religion on earth we would probably fight much less. When everyone can agree on things like; the life you have here is the only life you get, it would probably change a lot of things. We would probably end up fighting about who deserves more or less in society in monetary value, but at least would certainly not have racism, suicide bombers, and other common delusional beliefs from religion.

This is a fabulous question:) Wouldn't it be terrible if mankind was fighting disease, or mental illness as a group, working together?
The world would have to live in some type of communistic state which probably would not work because there are those who just have to have more that others and fights would start.

Religion was the first science - the first attempt to describe the world, and part of our development as a species. Religion was the development of those first simple beliefs for money - there has always been some humans who will cash in on the naive. It had to happen, as did Science - and as we develop, we get better at the theories, but we do not fully understand all the mechinism yet.

We would discover it real soon. It seems we need comfort. Religion is comforting because it gives meaning to death. The most frightining idea for human beings.

The invention was designed by evil for confusion. Those who do not serve Our Creator would still fight for land and power, etc.

the same things as always. For land, for power, for glory. for resources. for perceived differences like colour/race. For abstract notions like a nation or an ideal.
We suck sometimes. But we also rock pretty hard.

excellent question.
politics i guess, seems to be the next thing after religion that divides the people. assuming we would have gotten that far.
religion does bring people together, theres no denying that. but it als separates people into groups that frown on one another.
so yeah, politics.

If we had never discoverd our religion, we would belive in nothing, always be mad, and have no spirit. Everything in life happens for a reason.
