They only seem to find power in numbers. Its like they can't do anything for themselves. They have a preacher to tell them what the bible means and what's right and wrong. Why not write a bible that everyone can understand?

What gifts did eating that fruit bestow on mankind? Was it intelligence (suggesting we were no smarter than chimps before)? If you take it literally...what was the knowledge we received? Knowledge of the difference between Good and Evil? If that's so, how come we still need to teach our children right from wrong?

This is my quest, I must do this on my own, no one can do this for me. I refuse to be a victim. How ever I will accept suggestions. Belief will not do,only truth as this is a grave situation indeed.

Did Muhammad cominucate with beings that could have been demons? Did other prophets also talk with demons? Why are they in no other scriptures and why not seen by all of the prophets? When did God created these beings? What is their purpose?

This week in Vancouver BC Canada a couple had sextuplets. They were premature. Two of them died. In order to save the rest they need blood transfusion. However, the parents are JWs and it's against their religion to have blood transfusion. So they have to risk the lives of their babies to go without.

The government has apprehended the babies and have given blood transfusion to one of the babies. The parents are suing, thus getting their four babies back.

Who do you think is in the wrong here? Is it the government, for trying to save the babies' lives? Or the parents?

I asked this question before under another categorie and I think I'll confirm my suspicians here.
I just finished watching the movie Carrie on a cable movie channel. Now if you've never seen this movie, it shows several people in a high school being killed in rather gruesome ways as the gymnasium burns. It shows Carrie’s mother hanging by knives stuck in her hands and shows seven knives in total sticking out of the woman after Carrie supposedly killed her. It shows a couple of people rolling in a fiery death of a car crash. It shows John Travolta supposedly beating a pig to death.
It showed all of these people being killed but they cut out Carrie's nude scene when she washes the blood off.
What kind of country is it that will show people being burned and stabbed and wrecked and buried and crushed, but cuts out a very placid scene with a naked human body? Are American values overly screwed up when we see this happen? Are religious values responsible for these warped morals?

When you pray for someone, is it because you feel that your god is more likely to help someone if more people pray for her or him? Do you worry that god will not help someone if she or he is not prayed for? If not, then what is the purpose in praying for someone?
