Different people come to their life's purpose in different ways. For some, it's a life long journey. I suggest looking at those things you have a passion for. For example - if you're a natural story teller and you love stories, try writing. If you love music, take up playing an instrument. Remember that a purpose doesn't have to be grand and huge. We're all needed by someone and can have a positive effect on those around us if we so choose. Sometimes our purpose is bringing joy to the lives of others or shaping a positive future for our children. That, by itself, is a wonderful purpose. You never know. So keep an open mind and don't worry about it too much. It will come to you. Enjoy your loved ones and life. Good luck! :)

You use your mind. You ask questions. You research and investigate lots of different philosophies, points of view, attitudes. The more you know, the broader your horizons and the more likely it is that the right path will present itself.
But you also have to use your heart. You need to take in the information and then use your intuition to guide you where obvious advantages and disadvantages are not apparent. Sometimes a seemingly irrational impulse will lead you in the direction that turns out to be the most productive. (Of course it can also lead you on many a wild goose chase, but nobody said this process would be easy.)
Good luck to you.

I found my calling through God at the age of 3, but later on in my life after meeting the Lord He called me to an even higher purpose in my calling. I am an artist, and my calling is to glorify Him in everything I do, as a woman, a mother, a grandmother, in the way I live, and in all my accomplishments using all the gifts and talents that He has so graciously given to me.

Thats easy, everyones purpose is to make life interesting for each other. Some may think safe or less challenging would be better, but people thrive on challenges and grow more together and happier when there are risks involved.

Life's meaning is not pre-determined and planned out. You must find your own destiny and meaning; you must create it. You have something -- life, the here-now, the present -- and must make the best out of it. You must answer why you are here.
In my opinion, I feel that the goal of life is simple. It is to thrive and be happy. None of us had a "choice" in whether or not we were born, but now that we are alive we have the power to either enjoy it or end it. If you find yourself in a situation, you should strive to make the best of it. Increase your happiness. Have fun with things. If you're going to be alive anyways, you might as well have a good time while you're at it.

You probably need to increase the range of activities you are engaged in. Include a religious function, volunteer your time, join a club. The key is to shake up your routine and do some things you wouldn't do otherwise. Keep looking.

I think everybody has special talents. If there's something you're naturally good at and helps make other people happier, I'd say that's a perfect way to spend your life.

It's your purpose to serve God. But more specifically, each of us has abilities. What are you good at and what do you enjoy doing?
If you're still unsure, there are aptitude tests that you can take.
Johnson-O'Connor has a good (albeit expensive) battery of aptitude tests.
Seek God with your whole heart and ask Him for direction.
