I fear it has always been thus. However, God's word assures us that wickedness, hypocrisy and injustice will not go unnoticed. Jesus condemned the hypocrisy of the religious leaders in his time and the lesson still applies. Check out Matthew 25 - "Woe to you..... you hypocrites.... you have neglected justice, mercy and faithfulness, etc." And in Psalm 140:12 we are assured that "The Lord secures justice for the poor".

Also in Psalm 119:57 the writer could claim the "You are my portion, O Lord" and how rich we are if we can say that! We put our trust in God, not in men, and we do not lean on our own understanding. Romans 8:28 assures us that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

So do not despair, my friend, if the wicked seem to be getting away with it. Trust God and wait upon him. His timing is perfect.

Interesting point of view. The materially rich and poor ones can be involved in the judging - God's word is for everyone, he desires all to get saved even if they don't all want it.

I thought it was particularly interesting that you used the word "hallelujah" which means "hail Jehovah." What do you think about the name Jehovah? Is it really too holy for our sinful tongues to utter? If so, why did he reveal it only long after man had sinned, when Moses was commisioned to set the Israelites free?

I can't work out whether you believe in Jesus or not.
But I do think there are many in these so called 'high' places DO lead by example and show more of a Christian attitude than some who attend church every Sunday and proclaim themselves followers of Christ.
Peace be with you.

Boooh! gerroff! Rubbish!..you are neither informing amusing or deceiving anyone except yourself! I shall be personally speaking to Yahoo about you and others who refer to religion in a facile and simplistic way, with a view to getting you permanently offsite and your offending equipment confiscated! Good Luck!
