People that know me can attest to the fact that I am almost super humanly upbeat.I'm always the person smiling or laughing. And im an impossible person to knock down. (I'm like one of those clown punching things you hit me and i bounce right back up)

I'm also Atheist.

Where do I get this from? Christians seems to say that they are the only ones who have this joy in their life...(the joy of christ) and that athesist are empty and hollow....

When the Lord loves everyone and everything, why does suffering take place? Why are innocent people and animals forced to endure torture and abuse and neglect? Are there any scripture verses that can provide a reason behind all of this? I've always wondered how such a heavenly, loving God can allow so much suffering to take place.

I keep hearing that it's a lifestyle choice. How hard is it for you personally to NOT be attracted to someone of the same sex? Do you have to just remind yourself every few minutes or what?

surely the teachings from the bibles are a product of the time/culture they came from just as much as god himself. the people who wrote it were only human, and they would have interpreted gods 'messages' or whatever with their own prejudices and cultural ideas. its hard to believe that god himself dictated the bible and it was recorded word for word. although i call myself a christian and i believe in most things in the bible, it gets on my nerves when its quoted for current events, as if thats exactly what god has to say of the matter, and it has nothing to do with what was culturally acceptable THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO. when the bible talks about slavery, or the treatment of women, people say 'it was a long time ago, things were different then' but you never hear that said about homosexuality or whatever. what do you think?

There seems to be a lot of people on here that think britain is under the feet of america but if they new there history then they would realise that americans are british.The people on here put britain down and make out it is evil .but in reality it is our strong nation of people and the discovery of coal and iron that made us what we are.The reason we ruled the waves is becouse of this ,and any fool on here who is jelous.Then it just shows them for what they are fools.If any other country had the same resources and bravery then they would have done exactly the same.

evolution makes numerous claims that cannot be supporeted by evidence. For ecample, evolutionists say that birds evolved wings. But, no one has ever observed the evolution of a wing in the fossil record. So, what gives evolutionists so much faith to believe in their theory?

Evolutionists insist that natural selection plus time developed the mechanics necassary for flight. But where is the evidence? Evolution theory proposed birds evolved from reptiles. So, if this is true as evolutionists believe, where is the record that this process happend? If evolution takes place gradually over millioins of years, shouldn't there be all kinds of intermediates in the fossil record showing the transisition of front legs into wings? Supporters of evolution have already determined that they will hang on their views despite the lack of evidence.

I asked this earlier, but i'm looking for some more opinions and replies :)

What does the Bible teach about female head covering? Because i've heard a lot about women having to cover their head when they pray, and that in order to always be ready to pray, a woman should keep her head covered.

A few people I know said that when they were younger, it was customary to wear a hat or head covering to Church.

Why do so few women now wear the covering?

..why do christians use the cross , surely a form of idol , as representation of their fath and almost in a way worship it? and what about the statues of Jesus, Mary etc that you bow down before?

The cross thing confuses me greatly as I know if someone I loved with all my heart and soul as christans claim to love jesus was murderd in a particular way, i would not want to wear a little metal version of the murder weapon all the time! it would seem almost disrespectful!

wouldnt there be a few survivors to keep the population going? even if there was a nuclear winter scientist say this would only last a few months if that, they have fallout shelters everywere to last more than the winter, people in the government and submarines have plans to survive this catastrophe, so why would it be the end of mankind? it might hinder civilization for awhile but not destroy it

2- to create a men without a father and mother ? e.g (Adam ) father of human being ?
By default answer 2 is more difficlult . So IF God the creator of all of us who can create adam from nothing no father no mother . Why christians don`t call Adam a "God" . Like they call Jesus son of God or a god . ? WHY ....??!

I know that many Chirstians, if not all, frown upon the practices of Telekinesis, and other powers like that. My question and opinion is:
If God gave us a brain to use, why not use and train it to move objects with our mind? Correct me if I'm wrong, but i don't think there is anything in the Bible or the 10 Commandments that says "Thou shalt not move items with your mind." I am a Christian myself, and I was wondering about this.
Any other opinions, or answers?
