I agree also that it is abandonment issues. I would suggest re-assuring her that nothing like that is going to happen and make an honest effort to make sure it doesn't. Good luck!

Just tell her that death in dreams just means change. It doesn't mean physical death. It's just her mind's way of dealing with the recent change you brought to her life. It's normal!

Maybe she is afraid to lose you? Not literally by death but losing the contact (again).
