God created the earth and everything in it in six days and rested on the seventh day and said to keep it holy. How many are doing it? Why is first day, sunday being used instead of seventhday, is it because paul and the apostles had gathered in prayer on a sunday this practice has come. So are you following god or paul?

My dad says that there's nothing wrong with being proud of yourself if you accomplish something or do something right. but what about all those sayings that say pride cometh before a fall and what the Bible says about pride? i'm confused.

There is evidence that there was an ancient flood. People knew this, so it had to be added to the bible or else everyone would have known that the bible was fiction. So where did the Jonah fable come from?

How do you believe in a god? As of now, I have never believed nor have I NOT believed in god. I always think about reading the bible and what not, but to be honest I just don’t see the point. I’m not atheist in anyway; I guess I’m more agnostic than anything. I guess the whole religion thing confuses me like no other. I would love to believe in a god and or a higher power, I just don’t want to say I believe in something and I know in my heart I really don’t. I think what I’m looking for is just some general guidance on where to start…I’m asking on here because I know it upsets my family when I say I don’t know if there is a god. I just don’t think I should believe in something just because my family does. I want to believe because I WANT TO…Anyone have any advice?

God has requested sacrifice. The animals that were sacrificed were his creation. Does this mean that God doesn't care if we destory the ozone layer and pollute the earth? How do we know which creations God values most?

Why tempt your creations? Why would he create beings he knows will disobey and then condemn them for it? It's like allowing your dog out in the rain and then punishing him for gettting muddy.

some Christians would explain their growth in grace, becoming more like Christ, more in terms of a progressive growing and seeking Christ. Some would say that the work of the Holy Spirit in Sanctification happens all at once when we surrender our lives to Jesus.

How would you explain what the Lord has done in your life?

This is a neutral question. I don't care what you believe, just want to know what evidence you have found in your life to strengthen your beliefs.

I got saved last year and baptized in December last year. But here recently I have been struggling with my faith. I have a really hard time believing anymore. I keep praying for God to help me understand and believe in Him and why He does things the way He does but he isn't helping me. I am a sinner and I need help but I keep going back to God and then falling away again. I dont want to live like this. I need God but I just cannot seem to get myself to fully believe. What can I do? Praying doesn't help. Maybe He thinks I am hopeless. Maybe I am not good enough for God to help me. But at least I tried.

I'm not being specific to any particular supreme being. Just one in general. God, Goddess, gods, flying speghetti monsters, etc., doesn't matter.

If the house of God is clean the trickle down effect is the world around it ought to be similar. Holy ground that yields to iniquity itself with out stirring to root it out is the essential problem. Discuss

If living a good life is the key to Heaven then how good is good enough?
Imagine there was a swimming contest. And those in it had to swim to Hawaii. I might start out and only make it 60 yards. (I couldn't swim to save my life!) You might swim and make it two miles until you finally gave up. Mark Spitts (olympian) might make it 20 miles but still not even get close to the goal. All swimmers would try but non would make it. That's how Heaven is. No one can be good enough to make it in that is why it took the One Who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf to grant us entrance into Heaven. The only thing God requires of us is placing our faith in Him. Thanks be to God.
