If living a good life is the key to Heaven then how good is good enough?
Imagine there was a swimming contest. And those in it had to swim to Hawaii. I might start out and only make it 60 yards. (I couldn't swim to save my life!) You might swim and make it two miles until you finally gave up. Mark Spitts (olympian) might make it 20 miles but still not even get close to the goal. All swimmers would try but non would make it. That's how Heaven is. No one can be good enough to make it in that is why it took the One Who knew no sin to become sin on our behalf to grant us entrance into Heaven. The only thing God requires of us is placing our faith in Him. Thanks be to God.

But how much faith does one have to place in God? What if nobody can place enough faith in God, just like nobody can live a good enough life? You'll need more than a swimming race analogy to convince anybody.

Seems like you answered your own Question. It is very hard to live a life good enough that your works alone would get you into Heaven. Humans are often betrayed by their own thoughts and desires. We are aware that the road to damnation is wide and well traveled.

Once you prove the existence of a deity, then of Yahweh being that deity, we can get down to the nitty-gritty of if a heaven exists and if so how to get there.

See, the funny thing is... technically Jews don't believe in Heaven. So where did Christians get that idea?

I live my life in such a way that I don't worry about not being admitted into heaven( as it were).
Living a honest, decent, loving, compassionate life, will assure you a lot of inner peace.. What more could you ask for?

There is an afterlife for all of us. The place you arrive could be like your swimming competition, we arrive according to our own talents, skills, abilities as well as our knowledge. Heaven and hell are merely states of mind we can accomplish even as we live.

Most souls cross over, a belief in God or any idiotic religion is not necessary.

I don't believe in your god or your heaven, sorry. This is a forum for questions, not preaching. You didn't ask a question, you just used this as a pulpit.

Not hitting people and never complaining about a monotonous life is good enough to be recognized for.
