God created the earth and everything in it in six days and rested on the seventh day and said to keep it holy. How many are doing it? Why is first day, sunday being used instead of seventhday, is it because paul and the apostles had gathered in prayer on a sunday this practice has come. So are you following god or paul?

God of course! :-)

Here is why:

1.) The apostle Paul is dead.

2.) Paul is just as human as we are. He has sinned. He is not perfect. Though the things he wrote in his letters to the churches in Corinth, Rome, Galatia, etc. are God-breathed-on information....in which we Christians should glean from most definitely....that doesn't mean the Bible says, Worship Me (Paul) only. He is NOT God! God is a jealous God. Saints in the Bible are not to be worshiped! The Lord alone is to be honored & worshiped!

2.) God is perfect, pure as well as blameless. He has NEVER, EVER, EVER SINNED! He cannot either.....nor can He tolerate sin. That is why He had His Son die on the cross for all the peoples' sins in this world so that whoever accepted and believed this truth would have the undesrved privilege of spending eternity with the Father. It is oh so important to mention the revelation of the cross when speaking to others on the revelation of the cross. This is the fundamental basis of Christianity. That is what the Gospel, (the Good News), is all about! It's about the wonder of the Cross. Until you grasp this truth, nothing will make sense. There is NO point in living on this Earth without knowing that Christ shed His blood on the cross.... to pay the fee of sin which happens to be death and acknowledging this truth & accepting Christ into your heart. When we die, we have the choice of life and death.

The apostle Paul didn't die on the cross for the world's sins. Jesus Christ died for Paul's sins as well! Paul was a sinner. In fact, before his conversion to be a Christ follower, he KILLED Christians! But, God grabbed a hold of him on his road to Damascus!

Many Christian intellects have found out that Paul's teachings were extremely contradictory to the teachings of the Messiah. You could surf the internet to find myriads of websites talking about this issue.

Nevertheless, Paul is the big champion of Christianity. Without him, Christians would've been a Jewish sect composed of Israelites worshipping Yahweh (rather than Jesus). You would've seen the little population of Israelite Christians refusing to shave their beards, abstaining from pork and non-kosher foods and drinks, polygynous, circumcised, believing in the human nature of Jesus only, and having no idea about the crucifixion and its reason for salvation.

Without Paul, the non-Israelites would not have embraced Christianity. We do not know what their faith would've been, but one thing for certain would've been the absence of any Christian hatred of the Jews.

May be without Paul, the Muslim religion would've found more followers in Europe and may be the opposite...but one thing's for sure is that without Paul, Europe would not have entered the Dark Ages.

Every day is Church for me.

I believe they started worshiping on Sunday because Christ was raised on a Sunday. Whatever the reason, does not really matter. Paul was a servant of God, and he wrote much of the New Testament as inspired by the Holy Spirit, therefore we follow God.

I follow the Lord Jesus Christ. He fulfilled the law, the prophecies, & the Holy Days. To enter His rest, abide in Christ.

So. Also I love Paul. I agree that we can gather together in prayer any day of the week. Let no one judge you on this. Let no one judge you on what you eat. Etc. What God has made Holy is made Holy. God created all the days first. The 7th day, God rested from His works & mankind rested in Christ (until they ate the forbidden fruit.).

Who is born of God is made the righteousness of Christ. Whether of Israel or of Gentile nations.

We are not under the letter of the law of Moses, but we follow after the Spirit of God. So if the Holy Spirit directs me to River of Life Fellowship in Kent WA to be healed of my breakdown and then God heals me by the laying on of hands, then I am glad God directed me to go there on a Sunday. I still go there on Sundays. But I will go to church as the Spirit leads. Sometimes God has me go on a different day. So, I will go to church this coming Fri. Eve and Sat. Eve to listen to a prophetic speaker in Auburn, WA because the Lord told me to. The Lord had told me to purchase a book "Your Best Life Now" by http://joelolsteen.com who is a pastor of a Sunday going church. It is a victory book, and I am glad I obeyd the Lord and read it.

Ought to follow Bible, not Paul and his Letters; though forming a part of the Volume that contains the Gospels. There should be Church of Jesus, no Church of St Paul.

G-d and Jesus.
I love Sabbath...saturday Shabbat begins friday at dark.

I am Messianic Jew. Like Jesus was. He was the 1st Messianic Jew. Think of it...He kept Shabbat, the feasts, and believed in Jesus...like we do. Doesnt make us more Holy..I agree with Paul there. But I also agree that the fruit of the spirit will result in obeying the Law, not destroying it.

People can agree with both, but they pick and choose what to believe from paul to have a comfortable life. BTW....the Vatican changed the Sabbath to demonstrate its power over the Bible. Sad that so many follow it.

GO YESHUA!
