well i was both a catholic and protestant christian and i haven't returned to the faith although i can never truly say never but some people do an examination of different religions and beliefs and return to the faith based on the fact that they feel it's the right religion for them and for the person who said that there's no ex christians boy oh boy are your eyes and mind closed

I disagree, if somebody said that it is rare. I know a lot of people who were ex christians and return to Christianity
Many people are Christians, because their parents are, they only do what their parents do : go to church
In church/ sunday school they don't pay attention to what the pastor say and then to make things worse they have problem with another congregation(s) who they think are bad and then they generalize every Christians, thinking the are all bad.
So, many of them don't understand about Christianity that's why they are not blessed. They go home as they came to church. They don't understand anything about Christianity. Some of them marry non Christians. it's one of the reasons people left Christianity.

Some of these people then encountered a real good Christian who became blessing for them, and became more and more interested in Christianity. I was one of those who became Christian through a friendship with a Christian who had personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is very important, because Christians praise and worship living God, an awesome God who always listens to you anytime you pray, you can pray as many time you want, whereas with other God you can just pray a certain amount of time a day and then He doesn't want " to be disturbed". some had a lot of personal problems and remembered what (s)he heard from a pastor or Bible and then they tried to " dust off " the Bible and go back to church.

Hope this helps.

I don't know I missed the community and feeling I got from being a member of a church I went back a couple of times to different churches. It just wasn't the same I really didn't believe anything that was said and I couldn't pray or do any of the singing because I didn't believe what I was saying and I don't disrespect Christians or myself enough to pretend. I found the same lovely people I had been missing but I just didn't fit in anymore.

I would be interested to find out too.

To be honest, I have never heard of an Ex-Christian returning to Christianity. I suppose if one did it would be out of despair and fear though.

The tugging of God on tha person's heart. Don't make God to be evil, He's a loving God doesn't want His creation to be lost. The bible says that God will draw the hearts of men. So they'll know that it's God chasing them. He chasens those that He loves.

There are no ex- Christians. Once someone has placed their faith in Christ they cannot lose their salvation. They may stumble and loose their way from time to time or even cry out to God in anger and fear but God will never let them fall from Him hand.
