So, if you are hanging from a cliff, about to fall to your death, you'd trust god to pull you up to safety rather than Dawkins?
No you wouldn't.

Seeing as god doesn't exist, and the only "word of god" was written by men, and dishonest men at that, I'll be trusting Dawkins. I hate liars. And anyone who would pretend that what they wrote is the "word of god" is clearly a liar.
"I'll trust the one who actually helps humanity and doesnt just spew ideas into a book. Which one do you think that is? ;)" Impossible Dream
You're for trusting Dawkins too? Since I've never seen any evidence of "god" doing anything to help humanity, his only contribution is apparently the bible (Which was written by humans anyway, since god doesn't exist). Dawkins, I'm sure, has helped humanity AND he wrote his book. Dawkins 2. god 0

God does not write books. Only mortals inspired by the spirit write books (the good ones).
On another note, the being known as Jesus was a much better philosopher than Richard Dawkins. I learn more about spirituality from Jesus.
However, if I want a lecture in evolutionary biology, I go to Dawkins.

Well since I am totally not sure who Dawkins is, but he may have been a real entity, unlike the made up God. I assume you meant Darwin, but even he is more to be trusted that some fictional character.
You asking that is on the same level for me as being asked, who would you trust? Your neighbor or Spider Man? Spider Man is obviously not real, just like God is not real and made up.

If there were a god here and he said something, I might listen.
There isn't, so Dawkins is obviously more believable.
There is no such thing as "god's word". What you're referring to is man's word, and it is in fact false. When you claim that it's "God's word", you compound the dishonesty with a deliberate lie. I cannot imagine why I would trust you after you've done all of that.
Do you understand this? Can you see why after you've lied twice about this, people reject what you're saying?

god seems to have let down millions of people. death, hunger poverty, disease, natural disasters, misery and hopelessness. how many innocents die of hunger each day, how many killed in car crashes, they did not sin, it is not free will that kills them. if god/gods exist they are fully responsible for the suffering and the death of innocents, and they can't pass the buck to some evil demon, because if the god/gods are so all powerful they could just blow them away. and don't mention a plan, its a silly infantile plan, that fully negates the concept of free will. i think I'd rather put my trust in dawkins, somehow i don't think he'd stand by while uncounted numbers of people suffered and died.

Dawkins, I can see him on tv and if I attempt to communicate with him, there is a chance that he will *talk back*!
Also, Dawkins has never killed any one. God has killed thousands.

I have sufficient reason to believe Dawkins exists. But the reason I believe Dawkins is that what he says can be tested and verified and when people have done so they have confirmed what he says.

Dawkins has a more verifiable existence. God's existence cannot be proven.
