No logical explanation. The church might want to intimidate people to keep the money going into the basket on sundays.

There is no reason not to question God. A couple of examples for you:

When God assigned Jonah to preach his message of judgment to the Ninivites, Jonah high tailed it in the opposite direction. That's the reason he wound up in the belly of the big fish. Afterward he did go to the Ninivites and all of them, including the king, repented. Because of their sincere repentance, God forgave them their sins and did not execute judgment on them. This really ticked Jonah off and he told God so. God had to teach him a bit of a lesson about mercy.

Abraham questioned why God would destroy Sodom & Gomorrah when there might be found a few righteous people in the cities. I think he started out with 50. God said ok guhhead find 50 righteous ones and I'll spare S&G. He couldn't find 50 so he went back to God and say ok how about 40. Yeah 40. That didn't work. Until it came down to 10 I think. Then that was it and the rest is Biblical history.

The key lies, not in NOT questioning God but in listening to him when he answers your questions.

I am not sure what you mean by this question, since the phrase "question God" is a figure of speech that means different things to different people.

If you are asking if it is wrong to research your beliefs, or to think about why (or what) you actually believe about certain things, then you are misguided about Christian teachings, I am afraid.

There is a difference between "doubt" and "disbelief". Doubt is an emotion that comes and goes, and is not actually a sin. Disbelief is an act of the will where someone chooses to ignore God's commands, and therefore chooses to commit an act that he knows to be a sin, because he has chosen to assume that God does not exist (and therefore "sin" cannot exist). If by "questioning your beliefs" you mean "disbelief", then it is a sin simply because it is a excuse to commit other sins.

If you mean question the written word, or something that were suppose to do, through the holy spirits guidance, than I say "Yes" it very well may be wrong,......but , as far as alot of bad things happening in the world, I feel God gets alot of blame for these things "SATAN" is guilty of!!! Not God..... I have alot of questions myself, for God, when I get to Heaven (God-Willing) I get there,...when my days on earth are over..... And I'm sure alot of people do......have alot of questions for God. That's normal.... But, if you were just a little bit more specific about your question then maybe I could have answered it a little bit more detailed, hun... Smile!! You'll be okay, your Human, and God knows this!!!

I will give you a simplistic answer.

Let say you are a Child, about 3 or 4, and your parent told you, not to put your hand on a stove and that it is hot, you probably would not believe her/him and do it, and hence you get burned because you didn't believe Him/Her and questioned him/her.
Because being so young, you didn't understand why you couldnt, or did not believe her/him about the stove being hot.

There are many things that we as finite beings with limited minds cannot understand about God and the universe, so we must trust the creator who does know, however, alas, many will not listen.

The prophets in the old testament questioned God, so I don't think it is wrong. I think God understands our human frustration.

It isn't wrong to question God as long as that questioning is in search of truth. To question God to create doubt is dangerous and leads you away from Him.

It is a belief thing. As soon as you question something you try to know which is contrary to believing.
Belief is about something you can not know.
I for myself think this is bull-excrement!

Who said it was wrong to question him? Make him prove himself to you, but don't ignore him. He's worth getting to know.
