could this be the only explanation as to how god is both the father and the son. the virgin birth. and the fact jesus spent so much time talking to himself. the only other way is that jesus wasnt really god but surely thats less likely?

Mythology is simply religion that is "passe". Being past it's prime doesn't mean it's not religion, though. Alternately, does a religion in it's prime count as mythology? I think so. Should we educate children about past and current mythologies and a bit about the cultures that used them?

Come on my fellow christians... Do we really need to teach christian topics in secular schools? Isn't that in the domain of the church and of home?

I grew up learning about evolution etc. in public school but yet I still believe God started it all. I think I have a holistic idea of how it went down because of learning both but is there really a need to christianize the secular scientific community?

We did that many years ago when we thought the world was at the center of the universe and it was flat... come on...

It takes faith to believe in intelligent design.

It only takes reason and logic to believe science.

Why the sudden need to mandate the faith? I'm certain God can handle things without the need for us to make laws to help him. It is when we try to help him that it blows up in our faces.

Let science and reason reign in our minds. Let christ reign in our hearts. That's where he wants to be and thats where he belongs.

God created light first, then objects that would create light.

Jesus died quicker than any one on the cross, yet came back to life 3 days later (original zombie)
Jesus was not born on Dec 25th or even remotely close to December for that matter.
All stories about Jesus were written 50-200 years after his death.
Why did all these fancy miracles just up and stop 2000 years ago?

Would the fact that I could add kool aid to water appear to be Jesus magic to ancient people?

the word son in the Bible does not mean son as we understand today, the word son in the Bible means "an honor servent to God", Jesus is one of them which happend to born by a miracle for a sign to the childrean of Israel who were too stubborn to believe.
