Opinions and beliefs...I would say that life is more magical than you think it is, even without god, but you probably wouldn't believe me

That then poses the question of how much magic can we experience before it is no longer magical?
I think our existance is full of "magic" and wonder. Imagine, if you popped into existance, right not, with little or know knowldge of the world around you, maybe, you had lived your life on another planet that had only 4 colors, 1 thing to eat, and people just came into existance by sprouting out of the ground like a tree. You would be completely amazed at this world wouldnt you?
It also makes me think, when you mentioned Final Fantasy, about the old Star Trek shows and other sci fi from decades ago. Do you ever watch them and see how many things they have "in the far future" that we have in every day life now? How we are even more far advanced in a lot of that stuff that made people 40 years ago say "wow... could you imagine a phone where you could SEE who you are talking to??"
There is a lot of "magic" in this world but the more we are exposed, the less we care about it.

Existence IS magical if you know how to see it. You don't need a church or "gods and stuff". Just go on a hike. Comtemplate the miracle of the human eyeball. Watch a dog deliver her puppies and imagine the mystery of their existence. Ask how "love" is possible...
Final Fantasy is an expression of our "inner worlds". The magic is inside of you-your dreams, your feelings, your imagination. They are all as real and tangible as your hand in front of you. Only believe.

having escapist fantasies?
I state that I with my strong disbelief in gods, the soul and an afterlife and any form of magic/ESP/whatever, still find this world damned magical. Maybe not always enjoyable, but still amazing and filled with magic and wonder.
Maybe you should hop on a plane and wander around some?

Just because something has a word (gravity, fire) doesn't mean that you actually understand it. We understand PART of it, but not necissarly the ultimate HOW it works in either case...
Isn't that magical? Isn't it magical that you can eat and stay alive and breath and experience and SO MANY variable go into you staying alive that are beyond your control, but some how, everything works out ok?
When you think about it in totality, how can you think that there isn't a God?

If you had a brain and stuff, would you then be able to ask an intelligible question? Oh, I’m sorry that was a question and not an answer…. But then again, it could be construed as an answer, given the lameness of the original question.

Perhaps if He thought a little more like you. It would appear that He thinks on a somewhat different level.

Yeah, for real. Where are all the wyrms and entites? Wouldn't the gods have created ferocious beasts and monsters to keep us in check? It would definitely be a more interesting world.

When you consider everything that is on this earth and in the universe, it seems pretty magical to me.
