Probably not. That is likely my all time favorite maiden song. that whole album was kicking and when it comes to Maiden albums I rank it r at number two, only being bested by killers. Musically the band was really tight on that album and song. Lyrically, well lets just say that it leaves a great deal to be desired, coming from a judeo-christian view point.

Okay, I am a Catholic and this is my personal opinion.
Objectively, I would say 'no'. Simply using a song as a ringtone is not sinful, presuming the ringtone is not illegally downloaded, etc.
However, there are obviously subjective aspects to the question:
If you like the song for its musical and artistic merits and that is your reason for using it as a ringtone, then I would say that using it as a ringtone on your cell phone is not sinful.
On the other hand, if you were using the song to promote satanism, etc. then I would say, of course, that it would most certainly be sinful. You can probably see why that would be.

well that all depends, you need to ask yourself, is your actions glorifying God, or satan?
As Christians, our walk with God is scritinized and we are accountable for the positive examples here on earth. Ask yourself, when you phone rings, and others around hear that, are you showing by example that you are a follow of Christ, or Satan? Are you showing God's love by allowing your ring tone to echo through the air, and allow that be a tune that sticks in someone's mind throughout the day?
I know myself, I'd rather have the tune " don't worry be happy" ringing in my mind all dang day... instead of a song that glorifies evil himself.
( Can you please turn down your ring tone???)
Thanks,
( *smile* no insult meant... oooooh oooooh oooooh ... be happy.... oh great! lol)

Why do you ask? If a christian says it's a sin, why listen? Sin's are only to get you believe in a non-existent god
